Been totally consumed with what we witnessed last night and have seen so many quality clips that I think are worth sharing while the feeling is fresh, please share any others you deem worthy as I genuinely can't get enough.

That has to be my favourite - the middle age Leicester fan giving it the biggun' whilst behind him they've just thrown away 2 goals in 80 seconds! :D

Thats one of my favourites, only because the last time I listened to a game on the radio was when I was about 12 (I'm 31 now) and I used to go to my grandads shed by myself (nerves), tune into the game and just listen. Really brought me back, might try and listen to a game on the radio again one day, something about the radio almost like reading a book where your imagination goes wild and you picture everything as its happening, this was a great example too as when you watch on TV if the shot hits the post you can more or less gauge if it's going to go in, the radio commentator saying "Ohh hes hit the post" Would make you imagine its hit it and gone away from goal, straight away followed by "Ohh its in" gave me goosebumps even though I watched it on TV live :D

Bit of nostalgia and the unknown with radio

My grandad used to tell me about the great old fights that used to be on the radio before they became more widely televised

I can even remember great radio commentaries from the late 70’s/early eighties of European games and FA Cup ties & replays on BBC Radio 2? back then

Truly some great scenes from that. Really feels like we've regained our togetherness.

Thanks for sharing.

Some great clips and I finally got to see Ben Davies. I'd been wondering all day where he was when the second goal went in and could only think that, serious fella that he is, he was off for a quick 'tactical' word with the coaches, so I was pretty happy to see him 'letting his hair down' and joining the massive scrum with Conte and his assistants.

I had to listen to the spurs Man city champions League quarter final on the radio whilst on a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads ..when the var shenanigans were going on I didn't know what the fuck was happening I was quite literally on the deck.... When I thought sterling had won it my wife ushered the kids to bed ..the next thing everybody knew the boat was rocking like it was in a tsunami & I'm running from starboard to port to bow to stern ........simply incredible.

I'd been wondering similar ever since I saw Hugo had ran the length of the pitch.
Because IIRC there has to be one outfield player in their own half otherwise the ref can restart the game & the other team (in this case Leicester) could just kick-off and try and bang one in from the halfway line before the ref blows time, that may not be word perfect but I thought it was something like that.

It sticks in my head because I'm sure in our run to the CL final either Poch or one one of our opponent coaches was going mental trying to stop the whole team running for the corner celebrating after a keeper had done what Hugo did (I'm 95% sure I'm not making this up) I've a weird feeling it may have been Rose and Poch was screaming at him to stay put, or it was the Ajax coach or it was during the Euros maybe. I forget!

It's the opposite way round mate. Provided the players don't all enter their own half again, the ref can't continue the match.

Every now and then when Spurs are a 3pm Saturday kick off, rather than stream it, I'll get it on the radio and go for a walk or drive around in the car. Listening to sport on the radio is a different feeling to watching on the TV.

I remember the 4-1 match vs Man City back in 2015. I was driving home from work, and when Lamela scored, it took me a few seconds to figure out whether it had gone in or not, due to the scrappiness of how he'd got it in.
I deffo recommend giving it a go rather than streaming every time we're not on TV.

I saw him run straight to the bench. Definitely "Parched" .

My dad, being from a generation where tv’s were a thing for the extremely wealthy, loves listening to football on the wireless, as he still calls it. I on the other hand can’t stand it. I really struggle with getting that mental picture of what is actually going on but that’s just me.

I just quite like the chaos of it.

I live at home with my family and am currently having to self isolate in my bedroom due to Covid. I might stick some headphones on and listen to the Spurs v Chelsea match on 5Live, or wherever it'll be broadcast (y)

Can't stand listening to Spurs on the radio. The commentators try to substitute vocal excitement for the lack of visuals, and as a result it sounds as though we are on the cusp of conceding every time the opposition enter our half. It sounds like we spend 75 minutes of every match clearing the ball off our own line.

London Radio is the best I've heard.
5 live is ok ish depending who is doing it.
Talk sport is terrible.
The biggest issue is the commentators seem to forget they are on radio and there is no visual so they waffle on utter bollocks, as they do on tv, and you have no idea whats going on. Sometimes you can listen for 5 to 10 mins with no mention of what is actually happening.
Drives me nuts lol.
