In actual fact I'm quite chuffed with all the results today ...

Newcastle lost - always nice
West Ham lost ditto

Pompey Everton
Reading M boro
Wigan Man City all draws

Sunderland beating Derby I 'd have preferred a draw but not too bad considering

Keeps everyone around us in similar positions.

Arsenal won and stretch their lead to 5 points over Chelsea with a game in hand. But they are 6 points ahead of United with the same number of games played. It looks like it will be up to us to hand Arsenal their first defeat of the season in the premiership. I would absolutely love it if Ramos could pull it off. Come on Juande Ramos's blanco army.

It's not nice to admit it, but we need Arsenal to win these kind of games and should be pleased about this result. Any faint hopes we have of finishing in the top 6 are dependant on teams like Villa dropping points. We really can't afford for them to be picking up points they weren't expected to. From our point of view this was a good result, the Everton/Pompey game worked out well for us as well and Man City dropped points also. It's a pitty Newcastle couldn't draw with blackburn.

PL matches are notoriously restricted of course to a percentage.

FA Cup finals and semi finals would be 20-30 k plus.

I reckon on both the 91 & 92 FAC replays there were something like 50 thou Spurs inside, although my favourite was the UEFA cup final at Molynuex against Wolves in 72 == It was the noisiest and simply the best - probably only about 12 thou or so but what an atmosphere !

Carew almost scored against Arsenal again, as he did for Valencia, but it hit the bar this time. So close, but it wasn't to be this time.

Carew actually said that this Arsenal side is the best team he has played against ever. It is a shame, but I think it is true. They build French/African, and that is the key. All players are atheletes and pacy with a lot of tecnique. It is a shame to see, but it is true.

I have mentioned it before! I tried to recommend almost half of their team. The likes of Sagna, Diaby, Adebayor, Diarra, Song, Eboue......

Gallas was also one I wanted while he played at Marseille.

I have tried all I can to recommend good transfer dealings to the Club.

SK, with the greatest respect buddy, you've also recommended a whole lot of shite too. If we bought everyone you have ever suggested, I'd cost so much (with most being wasted on dudds) that we might as well just go out and buy the real deal.

I suggest you refine your search, and stick to maybe 10 players who you are convinced will be brilliant. Stick to them 10, and only them 10, and we'll see where they are in a few years time.

But I bet you cant see that their most technical players are Hleb, Rosicky, Van Rapist and Fabregas. Key attributes can be found in players from any ethnicity. French / African is not the key you racist fool.

Carew is obviously a dickhead.

Anyone that actually believes they are the best team in the league is completely mental. They play counter attack, at home, against Bolton. Fucking terrible to watch. I watched ManU last night, they must be the best team in the world at the moment for skill, pace, passing, everything. Having said that they played crap last night, and were still awesome!
