As you're based in France, do you think he's better than Coupet, Lloris, Mandanda and Pele, with all of whom we've been linked? Or Bracigliano (with whom we haven't been linked, but it's surely only a matter of time)?

On his performance today, Romania's keeper looked pretty damned good.

To answer you , I didn't judge VOLKAN only on his last Euro

2008 game vs Swizerland.

I already saw him play several times ( in both turkish league

and Champions league and i consider he was quite good in all
the games i had the chance to watch him).

I very often go in a Kebab restaurant where the owner

( a "Cim Bom Bom" from Galatasaray ) rates him very highly

despite VOLKAN playing for Fenerbahce.

Reagrding the french Goalkeepers you mention

"Coupet, Lloris, Mandanda and Pele", I know they are very

good also and i even made a thread one year back to

say that several french goakeepers could fit the goalkeeper

job for Spurs and many answered me that Robbo will always

be the N°1............................whatever happened.

One year later, facts proved in some ways that i was right

regarding Robbo.

I rate Volkan because he has played excellently for 2 games, for that reason alone I think we should buy him.

Guys; I couldn't not accept your argument that VOLKAN is not a good goalie for the

only reason he had made mistakes.

All goalies have made mistakes and never forget that our so called "N°1 Goalie" for

the last few years is a guy called ......................Paul Robinson that is probably the

worst goalie to play in a good league in England and Europe at the moment .

Like wise any player can have a decent couple of games.

Volkan has a reputation for being error prone, and while recently it looks like he is erasing those errors I'm sure our scouting network will know more about him and wont make any knee jerk signings
