Voted too, it's still top.

I love how Spurs fans are like the annoying little brother of the football fan world, it's fun :)

It was a great goal, and in the context of the game it set us up to be leading against the arse in a huge game we needed to win for CL qualification. Brilliant stuff!

I think I've watched it more than 50 times since it happened, the technique(whether it was lucky or not) to pull it off was just unbelievable... Whats more ridiculous is either on the bbc or sky, I can't remember which, it didn't actually get goal of the season.

^ On another note, if that had happened in the prem it would definitely be in the list. Unbelieeeeeeeevable tekkers.

Voted (though doesn't look like I needed to as he's clear in front now!) but I actually think that, for such a long list, there's some pretty dubious inclusions/exclusions on there.

Taylor v Sunderland?? Is that Ryan Taylor's free-kick this season or Matt Taylor for Portsmouth?

Also, Henry's goal against Man U - good as it was - wasn't even the best goal Henry scored by my reckoning. His solo efforts against Liverpool and, alas, ourselves, were much better. Yeboah should have his volley against Liverpool in there alongside his goal against Wimbledon, and I remember Rod Wallace scoring a worldy against us for Leeds too.

Jugding by the inclusions on there of Riise, Figueroa, Edman and Gerrard's respective 'strikes', I'd argue that whoever came up with that list has a penchant for long distance strikes rather than solo efforts, which are far more rare and in my opinion, far superior.

A matter of taste I guess I suppose.

Edmans was astonishing, really, i mean the balls dead, it's not like he hit it on the volley. Bergkamp against the toon, that was a cracker too, he was an amazing player, but i did my duty...
