Everyone signs duds, look at half the signings of all clubs over the years, they have all been shite, not just ours.

We just need this guy to be less shite than the rest.

I would consider Ossie Ardiles in a role as our director of football, a club legend, world-renowned, who already holds the confidence of poch.
Nah, mate. Ossie spends most of his time on the golf course these days. We need someone hyper-connected to the greasy world of international agents. That's where transfers happen now.

Regards to Baldini, even if he did waste money one thing is for sure, unlike levy, he got a lot of deals over the line.

No one likes it when we spend a whole window and dont sign the player(s) we want.

It would have been better for us if those deal didn't get over the line in hindsight though

Baldini was perfect for us. It wasn't his job to pick players but to do the deals. He had great contacts in the game so we found out things like Diers release clause, but also with those contacts you can get more deals done.

I hate threads that start with only a link. News flash! Not all links are accessible to every device!!!

Copying and pasting goes a far way for those who cannot open link

I have no clue what is being debated

Former Roma director Walter Sabatini is in London and could become the new transfer guru at Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Sport Italia interviewed the 61-year-old Italian chain-smoker at a restaurant in Fulham on Tuesday night.

He confessed that he was “close to getting back to work, as I am feeling withdrawal symptoms from football.”

According to the same television channel on Thursday evening, there are rumours Sabatini is preparing for a new job at Tottenham.

He had previously been linked with Chelsea, having worked at Perugia, Lazio, Triestina, Arezzo and Palermo.

Sabatini was director of sport at Roma from May 2011 to October 2016, when he resigned after months of President Jim Pallotta trying to talk him into staying.
