I agree he has to improve but this just isn't true though, his passing was exemplary last season, and now after one poor pass v Utd everyone has jumped on his back and criticised every touch of the ball

Indeed, people have soon forgotten the great partnership Bentaleb & Mason had last year

I'm pretty sure at the start of the season most fans said Dier wasn't up the DM position, I think I will bow to the coaches oppinion on Bentaleb


I think the Coach already tried him out for most of last season and the defensive record speaks for itself.

No need to spend there, Bentaleb is fine for Europe and cups until later stages (covering for Dier next season) and Dominic Ball seems to be groomed for that position for next season as well.

I would much rather go for those options and save money on an overrated Wanyama that doesn't bring much to the table IMO. Rather a homegrown @ 80-90% skill of an expencive buy - they grow fast in the Poch setup it seems and you get a priceless attitude as well...

Money better spend up front.
