We can blame the players all we like, but Conte's tactics against low block defensive teams simply do not work. Playing with 3 at the back with WBs who are primarily defenders will not break down low block teams very often. Playing Moura and Gil as the WBs and having Ndombele in Moura's #10 position, and we'd create a lot more against this type of opposition.

If Conte can't get results against negative sides then how did he win league titles with Juve, Chelsea, and Inter? Did teams never sit back against those clubs but decide to do so against mighty Tottenham Hotspur? He needs time and backing.
