*playing

Usually there's 1 or 2 players creating something out of nothing. Some of the passing combinations are like nothing I've seen from spurs before.

Ok, then you must have recently started to support them then. This is not just because of the game against Cardiff is it? Which you described as the best day of your life.

It's great to see us playing so well and grinding results even if the opposites are hard to break like Cardiff and Palace but the real test will come on Saturday... I hope we come away with heads held high whatever the result.

I don't think that's the issue anymore (if you were referring to my thread of last year - now totally rescinded), he's started to get the team in a good way mentally and has instilled a confidence apparent in the way we shrugged off Villa today. Can he withstand the pressure on Saturday though what with the Chelsea and Mourinho factor, and will the lads stay on top. I just hope it's a good result and we push on to what could be a memorable (in a good way) season.

I wouldnt say we're playing the best team football but I would say that I haven't seen a Spurs team keep possession like this team does, still early days so let's see if it can last throughout the season. But so far we're excellent at keeping possession which apart from a few lucky calls in our favour must be one of the reasons why we've conceded so few.

I'm just loving all this new found confidence we exude when taking on any team with almost any combination of our squad members. Definitely the upcoming Chelski game will give us all a better understanding of just how far we've come under AVB but as another blogger said.........."Thank you Real Madrid"

I love the fact that the squad depth is allowing us to use these rotations and combinations, which means that so many players are getting quality game time and actually performing really well! It's doing wonders for both individual and team confidence and the results are just feeding that confidence. Paulinho is already a Tottenham icon!

This is the best balance I've seen from a Spurs side. It's not the best attacking play I've seen which came with Modric, VDV, Bale..etc, even Berbatov and Keane days. But for sure, more rock solid which means less risk in a way - less enthralling tit for tat battles - more domination and presence - better attitude I would say with our dead ball goals and last minute sieges.
