Have WE all taken note of the fact that MANURE are in 10th (a favorite spot of ours? lol) and WE are TOP....above the other 'would be' CL teams?
Let's keep a lid on the celebrations, after tomorrow, at least, and then prepare for Spam at the weekend. Let's be sensible about this, it has been a LONG time coming, after all? It certainly felt good to see the 5th goal propell THFC into the top spot....well MY version of the EPL as I calculated the points/goal difference etc. I was sooo surprised to finally see our name on top...and why not stay there! COYS!

Hull City boss Phil Brown:
"I don't think, hand on heart, 5-1 flattered Tottenham tonight - they were fabulous.
"It's difficult to say to our boys to go out there and do what Spurs do because the gulf in class looks alarming. The fact is, though, that anyone who played Spurs tonight will have got a hiding, I think.
"Luckily we don't have to play Tottenham every week. Next up we have Bolton, where we'll need to dig in and respond that's for sure."

fair play to brown but i thuink he'll walk soon

I had a good feeling about this season before we even kicked off, i'm not getting above our station but i think top 6 is definately achievable.

I thought we'd draw today but 5-1!!!! Isn't that our best away performance in living memory?!

I didn't see the game but were we as good as the result suggests?

We really were 'that' good whl. Passing and movement was triffic and there was a massive gulf in class. Harry has every player wanting to play and fighting to retain their spot by impressing him, whilst at the same time the quality of football and movement is sublime. Defoe's hat trick was magnificent as was Keanes hold up play and Huttons defending just to name a few!

I woke up my whole house when Defoe got his 3rd rocket as it was 6 30 am over here!

Gonna crack open a :beer:eek:r two for MotD tonight! :dance:

Harry Redknapp ---> :bowdown:

Hubbie and I had 3 bottles of wine and wrote 'we are top of the league, say we are top of the league' across the bottom of the canvas that our 1 year old daughter 'painted' today. A great way to remember a great day!

Our defence today was very dodgy.

West Ham had the chances to win the game 3 times over.

Otherwise, great performance to turn it around and we stay top! :dance:

What game were you watching? It was a massive derby mate, away from home. :)

West Ham will be tough to beat this year and not many sides will score two against them at Upton Park so nobody should have expected anything but a hard fought win.

:clap:Which is what we got:clap::)
