Does anyone else hope that we only do a bit of reshuffling in the summer so that perhaps a few youngster get some minutes next year? We never seem to bring anyone through and that's because we always want the quick fix. Well done lads!

Brilliant stuff, by the sounds of things we dominated the game, and without some key players too...

Hopefully we'll see some of them getting more involvement in the first team squad next season, after all it was us that pushed for 7 subs in the league with bringing youngsters through cited as one of the reasons for it...

Any team that can beat the Barca academy needs a special praise, thats a phenomenal result when you think the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and co came from there.

Well done Boys

If we can get 1 or 2 of these to be a regular in our starting lineup, then I will be a happy man.

This result without Townsend, Bostock and Obiki (spelling) is even more special. At least they have a winning mentality.

The hard work begins next season. This is just a very steep learning curve to watch who can climb or who will fall off.

Comolli made some big mistakes with the 1st team squad, but fair f*cks to him for what he did with the academy

Obika, Townsend, Bostock, Parrett, Mason and Smith all seem fantastic prospects and the rest of the team can't be too shabby either

Alex Inglethorpe is becoming a very good manager, not only the players that we should be bringing through? Looks like we have a good young manager with potential as well..

yep well done comolli. could never understand the stick he got
He was the scapegoat for the pre-season farce that left us with two first team strikers in our first team squad and £50m burning a hole in the THFC pocket on the 1st Feb.

It may have been wrong for him to take sole blame, but Harry Redknapp would nenver have sanctioned a D.O.F on his arrival. Comolli went, as his long term business plan continues to flourish. Alex Inglethorpe will see to that.

Comolli may have brought a couple of kids in from elsewhere, but most of these kids have come through our own youth system.

Now, Comolli may deserve credit for supervising the academy for a couple of years, but personally i'd give Inglethorpe and our youth coaches far more of the credit here.
