We are due to thrash a team its been a while since that's happened....seriously though its unlikely, if only at waste a marginal defeat we'd of had a good chance at the Lane.

We need to really push in the league now, no more excuses.

Remember Wigan 9-1? Defoe shot and everytime it just went in....yeah well!! That is not going to happen.

I think most of us would just be happy with a win at home against Madrid, I mean, what other team would then be able to say in our first year in the CL, we beat AC Milan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Trouble is I fear Madrid will go all out to get the first goal, then proceed to rest one or two as early as possible as they have Barcelona at the weekend.

They have Pepe out suspended, Barca at the weekend, might suffer from overconfidence, may rest a couple of players.

I remember when we played Sevilla, having lsot the first leg 2-1 and being 0-2 down at half time. '4 goals, we only need 4 goals' we sang, great atmosphere.

Regardless of what happens in the game, lets make sure we the fans go out with a bang

All I am wanting now is 90mins at White Hart Lane with our support at its peak. Lets fucking raise the roof regardless.

I am irrationally excited about Wednesday. I don't know why, but I truly believe we can do something amazing. A perfect storm is brewing, I can feel it.

Let's not forget, Madrid have plenty of players who are psychologically fragile.. all it takes will be a few ingredients to make them fall apart. A raucous, intimidating ridiculously full-on crowd will make them wonder what we know that they don't, seeing as how they are 4-0 up. A bright start, a bit of luck with a pen or a red-card (as seems to happen against us more than enough, time for the opposite please!) and some flukey own-goal from a corner and they'll be rocking. I think if we score two without reply the place will be rocking and if the third arrives, however late it might be, I truly think we're going through.

Tottenham eh? Fucking hell.

That Sevilla game was amazing atmosphere! I remember a Martin Jol song that went on for at least twenty mins!

Good stuff :)

To be honest, even if we go out, a good performance could carry us into our next league match against Arsenal

Ah, I had a dream on Sunday that we won 4-1. But the match was only half hour long and played on astro turf. Make of that what you will!!

Not sure if we can salavage the tie, but i'm deffinatly confident we can get a good result tomorrow night.

We should be well up for this, whille Madrids players will be in the difficult situation of (at least subconsiously) knowing they are already all but through and have an important game against Barca on Saturday.

And two bad penalty decisions aside we would have won the tie .....

Why astroturf? Is it because you smoked the grass?

I can't see us stopping them scoring, so us getting 6 goals is a tad unlikely, I fear.
