To the tune of “She Loves You” by The Beatles

A Dutchman told us no
And we all lost our minds
So we went to Glasgow
And up there we would find

Postecoglou
And you know that can’t be bad
Postecoglou
And you know you should be glad
(Ooooo)

Postecoglou Yeah Yeah Yeah
Postecoglou Yeah Yeah Yeah
Postecoglou Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

I hate myself for doing this but big Ange got me hyped.

Out in the street
Out in the street
Out in the playground
In the dark side of town

Oh, we gonna rock down to Ange Postecoglou
And then we'll take it higher
Hey, we gonna rock down to Ange Postecoglou
And then we'll take it higher

It did catch on. Then he got injured and his form dipped at the same time as our form and the general atmosphere and mood.

Me and my son were gutted as we were singing it at home all the time as it’s so catchy. Then literally nothing in the stadium. Guess we need to up our game and start it off and hope others join in.

Also, as I’ve only really started going to the live games in the new stadium, in the —— side in the —— side we’re the —— side of the lane etc song. We are always in lower north stand seats with our spurs club tickets. What would that area be classed as??

Its difficult for me to criticise the songs as im useless when it comes to creativity, so feels hypocritical of me, but our songs are absolutely mundane and boring and uninventive. They really are. The Kulu one is great, I think we had one for Bentancur too..

Just my own personal preference but I dont really like singing about players as they all fuck off eventually. I do prefer singing about the club itself though whether that is the present or the future or even the past.

One thing I credit Liverpool fans with is they do have decent songs and chants. They get pretty creative and it does generate an atmosphere, and im not talkign about Anfield, I mean more in terms of say in Europe when they travel etc.

Ange Postecoglou, Ange Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou’s Blue’n’white army
Ange Postecoglou’s Blue’n’white army"
Tottenham Hotspur
Ange Postecoglou’s Blue’n’white army

To Waltzing Matilda, takes some practice, but believe me it does scan.

And of course, I've had to update my signature, which should be the song about the club we're singing every week.

( instead of the old “Martin Jol’s Blue and white army)

Postecoglou’s Blue & White Army

or (to the tune of seven nation army)

Ange’s Blue & White Army

Brought across from Ange thread (where A&C rated it off topic! :()

To tune of Son of my Father (AKA Oh Teddy, Teddy):

Aaaaange Postecoglu
Born in Greece but now he’s an Aus-tra-li-an
Aaaaange Postecoglu
Oz, Japan and Glasgow, now he’s Tot-ten-ham

Aussie related songs - Down Under:

Ange comes from a land down under
Attacking football full of wonder
When we press, your defenders blunder
You better run, you better take cover

I Should Be so Lucky:

We’ve got Postecoglu, Angie Postecoglu
We’ve got Postecoglu in charge
We’ve got Postecoglu, Angie Postecoglu
We’ve got Postecoglu in charge

Mental As Anything's Live it Up:

Hey, Ange Postecoglu
We really want you
To win a cup

Waltzing Matilda:

Ange Postecoglu, Ange Postecoglu
Ange Postecoglu’s in N17
And he stands on the touchline,
As the Spurs go marching on
Ange Postecoglu is Tottenham’s Aussie.

If we were to sign Arthur Theat then may I suggest this song for him

To the tune of Muds Tiger feet ...

That's neat, that's neat, that's neat, that's neat

We really love you Arthur Theat

I will get my own coat

Someone needs to tell BillieT and that Spurs songs twitter bloke to make their songs a bit more fucking simple. We're pissed mate - we're not remembering the lyrics set to the tune of A Very Modern Major of a Modern Major General ffs...
