I put this in a grinding gears thread. I cannot stand teams that use pop songs to come out to. It really makes me cringe. Hi Ho Wolverhampton uuugh Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday uugh. Not sure where else to put this so soz if it is not the right area. Has anybody else received a survey questionnaire from Tottenham today? Their questionnaires are usually just for an idea on how well we remember their sponsors and I loose interest after page 1 and cut the link. However, this one is about the support, where we stand, do we sing, should they increase the singing area etc. Also what song would we like them to come out to and kick off to. I have just filled mine in and I must admit I struggled to think of a unique song that belongs to us that lifts all our fan base at ko. Other teams do have them and they make me jealous Liverpool and the noisy east london neighbours come to mind. I struggle to think of many bands that have an affiliation with Spurs but maybe an Adele song, or Flo and the Machine or even Klaxons (Golden Skans and It's Not Over Yet are pretty good) . But I do not get lifted by the two cockney boys getting all trembly so it is a struggle to find a song. If it wasn't a Tottenham supporting singer I really love the song Sometimes from James. I think it is a fantastic anthem song and would sound great being sung in our stadium. You could even change the words a little to fit it to Spurs ...something like "Sometimes, when I look deep in your eyes, I swear I can see your (soul) Spurs" I am not sure any other club uses it. Anyway it would be interesting to hear other peeps ideas and also for the season ticket holders to fill out the questionnaire. I also noted that the email it talked about the Spurs fan groups it had been in dialogue with... no mention of SC.
De de de de, de de de de, de de de de Chelsea. Double uugh.
