Yes we won the Norwich trophy twice ( the second time was " shared " )

We also by the way are past winners of the Anglo Italian League Cup Winners trophy so who knows if all goes to plan next weekend we could build that into our crowded schedule.

It's an honour so I don't see the big deal, it's not like we're bragging about it because we've got nothing else.

Personally I don't know anything about those cups but they were probably competitions rather than friendlies and may have been big deal at the time.

so what's wrong with putting winning various competitions on our site?

I don't see why it's scraping the barrel, it's an historical record presumably

I haven't seen the list myself, but some people are interested in the history of the club and it all helps build up a picture

I have quite a few spurs books that give all sorts of minutiae about the club - i'm the sad sort of person who enjoys that kinda stuff - at least at keeps me away from the railway stations at the weekend, and allows me to wear fashionable spurs clubwear inside the house, instead of getting cold in me anorak waiting for the next train number to arrive

Oh and re bragging about trophies, I have actually read on various sites from various team fans, and have indeed heard it kind of half-seriously from a couple of spam fans that winning the Inter Toto Cup counts as a major trophy

Now that's when the barrel detector and scrapeometer comes into play
