Agree with the premise that we should be fully prepared to see this as a transition season.

At half time in the west brom game i remember saying to a mate that we were playing well, showing good signs and that even if we don't win the match, we shouldn't be too disheartened.
I gotta say i love the pressing off the ball. The amount we would win it off them in their half was a joy.

Why? he have a squad that has got us 4th twice in the last 3 years and 5th. I understand we've lost Modric but we should still be capable of finishing where we did last season

The division is a bit stronger than it has been over the past few years though.

I would be disappointed if the board threw away all the progress this club has made over the last 3 seasons and "allow" us to have a poor season and finish way below where we have in the last couple of years.

No, I felt on last season (yes we bottled it) but we played the best football around and we were within 90 minutes of 3rd place. We had always improved under Harry apart from the season we came 5th but got to the CL quarter finals
