I think Liverpool are playing pretty well to be honest. Unlucky to be behind, although it was a penalty. However they are letting the game get a bit too open now.

Some of their interchanges at pace have been impressive though, certainly much better than what you see from us usually.

Agreed, they have looked good and I also agree that they play with the kind of crispness and urgency that I'd like to see significantly more of from us.

Talksport today -

Talking about the Liverpool vs Chelsea match

Saying one club has history (Liverpool with 38 major trophies won in 111 years vs Chelsea's 8 Major trophies in 98 years pre Abramovich) while the other is making history (Liverpool 3 major trophies won in the 11 years since Abramovich took over at Chelsea vs Chelsea's 11)

Chelsea have more than doubled their total trophy haul since the Roman empire was established (not to mention having won far more important titles than they ever did in the past) and they will only continue to add to it

The power balance in football has really changed in a short period of time

About as much contact as Markovic made to the Ludogorets player in the CL which got him sent off.

Although in that instance you could clearly see Markovic look around and swing his arm in the direction of the Ludogorets player, there was obvious intent. There wasn't in Luis' yellow, and what contact there was was nowhere near Markovic's face.

Also I love how Can appealed for handball against Costa all of two seconds after the ball hit his own arm in almost identical fashion.

Costas hand ball was very similar to Vertonghons one the other week when we played Chelsea. Anyone think Jose will say this one is a pen?

He'll be too busy talking about how Hazard is being targeted by other players and how things need to be cracked down on to protect players like Hazard....

Sahko moves with the ball at his feet like he doesn't have full control of his legs....

Currently suffering the most irritating sound in football - shrieking Scouse twats screaming their jobless faces off at every single decision which doesn't go their way.

Happens in both the blue and red halves of the city and is the single most infuriating sound in the game.
