One one person needs a straight jacket here, and that is the person I am responding too....

Hey, we could do synchronised rocking in our padded cells... Never know, they could make it a new paralympic sport (y)

You're already a world champ sunshine...

Sorry, but I have completely disagree with this and it is even more shameful than the attack me on me being Spurs fan, when it was abundantly clear in the last half of the season he was found wanting as a manager, even bond is quoted as saying he wasn't taking training. We only won one game in 11 and the only reason why we started winning again was because Lennon came back from injury and Harry could revert back to his favourite starting 11. The 10 or so games before that, it was just a joke, a complete and utter joke with Harry trying to fit square pegs in round holes.

Now, I know it is early days and still too soon to be certain, but AVB has 6 first team players injured, BAE, Kaboom, Parker, Ade, Livermore and Naughton and has also lost VDV and Modric, and we just beat Man U at OT (and those that have come in are still trying to gel within the squad). Harry had one player injured from his favourite starting 11, Lennon, and we win one game in 11 and throw away a 10 point game from 4th.

I will let you figure the rest out and whether it is me that requires the straight jacket.

Yes it is definitely you.

You didn't even watch the United game did you?

Not sure where the balance is in that article?

Nothing in there, for exmple, to say that the first few games of his reign the football was dire (and yes yes yes, we all know that it is a new system that is being put into place and so it's going to take time bla bla bla.) Nor, for another example, anything about Harry having the best points return for Spurs in the PL-era, leading to very genuine concerns when he was dismissed (and yes again, we all know that there were a number of valid concerns and possible justifications for this but...)

It's a very pro-AVB article in which the author chooses to 'balance' the piece by denigrating one of Spurs' best managers of all time.

Balanced? Only if by a balanced article you mean one with a chip on both shoulders.

and we were so good in the first few games last season weren't we with good old H in charge.

For the last few seasons, because of the delay in signings cos of transfer window, we never start any well.

Let's all just wait and review after a FULL season shall we.

In the meantime support AVB and the boys to the full

This kinda proves my point... Why the reference to last season and 'good old H' ? Lets just support the club (and the clubs manager) now without continuing to get in a tizzy about the last manager and his successes and his flaws. The past is the past and what's done is done whether you, I or anyone else agreed or disagreed with it.

If you want to support the new manager you can do so without denigrating the previous incumbent.
If you want to complain about a dire performance from the current side / manager you should be able to do so without accusations that it's all about your 'support' of the previous manager and without comparing the current manager with the previous.

If you want to claim an article is balanced, at least let it be a balanced article!!!

Because the last manager (maybe), but most definitely the Harry loving media, especially the red tops, have done nothing but try completely unsettle us and fuck AVB over at every opportunity. They have even resorted to printing outright lies and made up fantasy stories about the club and put it in the public domain, where the vast majority of the public will believe this shit. You only have to read some of the comments made about AVB on some of the papers website to see how successful it has been to a degree. There are also segments of the Spurs fan base, buy and read this shit and that also want AVB to fail before he even started.

Whether or not Harry is involved in this media shit storm over recent weeks is unknown, but working at the The Sun, I would not be surprised if he has been having a cuppa and chat with some of these so called journalists.

I hate Harry with a passion, but despite this, I was a little disappointed that he didn't get the England job, I personally think it would have suited him more. When he left I wished him well and good luck, despite my true feelings for him.

So until the media stop this revenge bollocks with their beloved Harry getting the sack from Spurs, it is never going to end and what is more, if it continues what respect people have got for him will eventually turn sour and bitter, especially so if he is actually involved in this shit. Seeing as he has already had his sly digs at AVB already...... who knows.

They've got a kind of front where the antenna and the mouth is, but is that the same as a head?

Well, there are many things in natural world that have heads, that don't look like heads. As long as it meets with the scientific criteria of what a head is, then it has one, regardless of what it looks like.

You're right, I was just wondering if it did meet the scientific criteria of having a head?

Yeah snail and slugs do, but their relative gastropods likes clams and mussels don't.

I could go more in depth with you if you want, but that would mean a whole new thread as this would be waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic

The media has been anti-AVB since he was at Chelsea... Thats pretty impressive foresight from H to start the witchunt before anyone else knew that he wasn't getting the England job, would be pushed from his job and replaced by his arch-nemesis AVB.

Well, thank you for pointing it out, like I already didn't know that.

I also said "Maybe" have been involved, no-one knows for sure, but then I am sure you quite capable of understanding English, but the rest still stands. The media, especially the red tops, have taken a very pro Harry stance and even Harry has had his little digs and if it continues will only turn sour and bitter.

That part i agree with, however it is obvious from the moment Redknapp was shown the door that his mates in the media were sharpening the axes. You may no agree with that (for what ever reasons) but it has been the case, thankfully it has been harder to slag him off recently because things have been going well.

I think you're confusing the slug with the common or garden Ar5ena1 fan. While most of them, in scientific trems, have a head, they have no brain.

Hope that helps!
