Fair play to them, seriously. They deserve huge credit for tonight, we nicked it but they pushed us to the wire and then some.

Well done Coyle, my hat goes off to you:clap:

Burnley has 4 straight losses in the championship......lost to swansea last weekend. Something to think about.

I felt for the players with tears in their eyes after the game

They were great, but if it wasn't for poor selections from Harry we wouldn't have been in that mess at the end.

Putting the kid in goal nearly cost us. But credit to Burnley they did give it a great go.

They were excellent and were the better side for 200 of the 210 minutes. They played some great stuff and Owen Coyle looks like a great up and coming coach, who has his teams playing in the right way. Just kind of speachless after that, we clearly don't deserve it and I feel for the Burnley fans.

Seriously don't know how we got away with that. We were fucking terrible, and Burnley were excellent. Feel really sorry for them cos we were utterly outclassed by them.

I feel so, so sorry for Burnley tonight.

They deserved to win but, more than that, we deserved to lose with that performance.

And their form in the CC has been outstanding.

They were great. We didn't deserve that whatsoever, it should be their day out. Dawson was the only player giving everything for us, again.

Absolutely. Their midfield out-gunned ours completely. Thank you Pav and Daws (for some great interceptions before the end of 90 mins) but well played Burnley!

Just posted this as soon as whistle blew on first Burnley fan site I found;

I am a Spurs fan hence the name, and I just wanted to say having seen us sneak out of jail that you were by far and away the better side and should be going to Wembely. I was ashamed of our performance but take nothing away from you. Obviously I was happy and relieved to go through but if it were not for the embarrassment I would have got for us throwing it away, I wouldn't have been to unhappy to see you go to Wembley. Without meaning to sound patronising, you would have had a great day and had every chance of beating United. I remember last year for us fondly.

You were also very good in the first leg first half and so over the whole tie you were the better side. Your keeper was immense today and I felt sorry for him a little on Pav's goal and your players caused us all sorts of problems. In all my 18 years of supporting Spurs I have never felt this sheepish about winning. I will go to Wembley and enjoy it, hopefully we will play 200 times better and win but you guys were the stars of this cup whoever wins- just for beating Chelsea and Arsenal alone you should be proud.

Good luck next season and try not to be too despondent.
