If Bale stays at Spur's next season THFC will need a bigger stadium.

A few points

We have 2 world class players. Bale and Loris.

Adebayor puts full effort in and for that I make allowances for him not scoring but I'd also say his last 2 games have shown he is getting his touch back as well.

No way will AVB put Livermore or Carroll in for the start on Sunday. Dembele and Parker both have some issues at the moment but they are proven experienced premiership players.
Potential in Vertonghen, Holtby and few of the youngsters as well by the sounds of things.

Bale deserves everything coming his way, but once again it was Lloris saving the day and allowing us to get the 3 points. Great save when Matt Taylor was in on goal. If it goes 3-1 there, game most likely over and at best we try and get a draw out of it. I don't think there is a better GK in the prem at the moment.

BBC - "Tonight was Spurs' eighth league win away from home, which is a club record"

Pretty amazing considering it is still February!! (Not sure if that means in the prem or all time).
The double team won 16 away games (out of 21) that year :)

That is some epic editing there, after the goal goes in and Bale and AVB are running towards one another :)

A hippo has been spotted in East London tearing up a Caravan site...

gotta feel for big Sam suppose.

Funnily enough, this afternoon's rerun of Only Fools and Horses was the one where Rodney gets the video-camera off the college to make a local interest film, and Del Boy wants to do a horror movie with an escaped rhino that terrorises Lahndan and lives in a deserted lock-up during the day (yeah, the one where Mickey Pearce shoots a porno in their living-room, and Rodney walks in :ROFLMAO:).

All I know is that we need to do EVERYTHING we can to hold onto players like Bale and push on.
I don't know why we didn't buy a striker & why we wern't able to get Moutinho, but I'm really hoping (and trying to be very un-Spurs-like by being positive) that we can get 4th or even 3rd this season. Then hopefully Levy can sign some top draw players & show some intent to potentially challenge for the title.

I really feel that we're so close to being a complete team and once we get the few players we need in key positions, & get others back from injury, we can really make a bigger impact - the right way & show Chelsea & Man City how to do it.

Unfortunately my fear is that we don't push on, we lose Bale, and then we take a few steps back, which is what happened a while back when we lost Carrick, Berbatov etc.

I'd categorise that as a great interception rather than a great save, but if you want to call it a save I won't argue. Point is, surely, that Jääskeläinen was far and away the busier of the two and pulled off at least five terrific stops. If it han't been for him this would have been a slaughterhouse.

I'm not disputing that Jussi was outstanding, just pointing out that Lloris made a vital save which would have made it 3-1.

Cracking & titanic battle ahead bring on the Goons! You can already feel media pressure building but a win was so important tonight just to keep them chasing us mental strength under AVB is the new armoury! Lasagne-gate, Chelski stealing our thunder by winning the CL and the mind the gap shenigans which were painful episodes for us all. You watch the media start firing the bullets at us but this time we have a squad up there which can emulate that cracking 1-0 at Citeh to secure our CL place.

Living in Essex you don't know how special it is beating them in my eyes it's always on par with beating the scum! Bursting bubbles in the Boleyn if Bobby Moore was watching tonight one thing is for sure he'd see quality not in claret & blue but pure lillywhite - Bale take a bow you truly are world class; 250K and huge stadium makes him stay!?! This was just like the 4-3 in the past only hope this time it actually sends them down 'they fly so high upto the sky then like my dreams they fade and die' if self defeat was a prophecy keep on singing it Spammers lol COYS!!!

I have to say it's a weird feeling as a Spurs fan but I was confident that we would turn it round, I'm sure AVB is doing a lot of things right.

Can we start singing "We all dream of a team of Gareth Bale's" from now on? Because I definitely do!

Am I watching this through Spurs tinted alcohol stained glasses but was the Parker challenge really a penalty?

I'd air on the side of yes it was to be honest. Put it this way, if we were denied that sort of penalty I'd be one unhappy bear.
