Bentley's. Ex gooner against the goons at the goons in a game that we nicked a point from a losing position.

When was the last time we scored a great volley like that? It's not just the distance from goal, but the teeing it up before he took the shot.

I voted for Bentley.

JJ's goal was technically brilliant, but he had a lot of space which makes life a lot easier. Brilliant curled shot, but not really apart from the crowd.

The Hudd's goal, again was technically brilliant. However, he drilled it through 5+ players and it deflected on the way in. It was very well struck, but needed luck to find the net. If it had flew past the players into the top corner then I think he'd have more of a shout.

Bentley's goal needed to force Almunia to make a mistake, which is what happened. Still needed some luck, but the amount needed was much smaller than the Hudd's. He was under pressure and really had to dig the ball out from under his feet. Struck brilliantly, and only had a second at most to aim the ball to an area within a couple of yards, 40 yards away. I don't know if the vicious swerve was intended or not, but was the icing on the cake really.

Just my $0.02 worth anyway.

Hudd because the technique required is far superior in comparion to Bentley's.

Heres how I look at it, give a 17 year old kid the ball, and tell him to attempt to execute a re-creation of both goals. Bentley tee'd himself up and so the ball was their to be hit.....whilst Huddlestone had to volley the ball across his body as it moved past him.

Bentley's looked better, huddlestone's required more technical ability and brilliance.

I went for Bentley's. JJ's as good as it was doesnt come close to these 2, but take nothing away from him it was a good goal.

Bpth bentley's and Hudd's goals took alot of skill, and people saying Bentleys was easy and was set up for him to hit is wrong, i look at the build up play for it as well and JJ's bullish chasing of the ball and winning it back, then his knock down for bentley to just flick up and then hit (saying it is easy is one thing, atchaly being able to tea it up and hit the target from that distance and lob the keeper isnt easy) and also because it was agaisnt a better team and arsenal it just makes it more enjoyable :D

Whilst the hudd's wonder goal was technically better, Bently's gets the vote purly because it was against the scum.

JJ's goal was so classy and Thuds was wicked cause it reminded me of fifa it was so robotically perfect but I'd had so many stella's to calm my nerves before we played le arse and when Bentley took that first touch, oh, the resting on the ankle of his standing foot, oooo, the distance, the desperate pissflap from almunia...I couldn't believe my eyes that goal was too special....so yeah i voted for Bentley.

Bentley's by a country mile. Even Lee Dixon was raving about it (in contrast to his wanker team-mate).

Hudd. People have raved about that Beckham to Scholes goal for 8 years and rightly so, it is so difficult to pull off.
