and we loved every minute of it!
I look back at the season and not just from our perspective, it had everything. Fans back in stadiums, so much drama, so many big moments. I really am struggling to think of a season where so much happened. And the best of all of it, beating the scum to fourth. It is an absolutely huge achievement. Now we can aim higher. COYS

Remarkable that we've qualified for the Champions League. It seems like it's been a long, dragged out season.
Would never have believed this could happen if you had told me, after stuff like the limp capitulation to the goons at their place, the embarrassing game against the Mura minnows! Kane sulking and playing at walking pace, all those depressing performances against Chelsea...the two weeks in February where we lost to Burnley, Wolves and Southampton....the memories of sad face Nuno on the touchline...all this off the back of two years of boredom under Mourinho.
Then like some Olympic 1500 metres race we were the runner on the last lap who suddenly leaps from the trailing pack overtaking everybody....well enough people to get on the top 4 podium at least.

Just to add to this I think normally however big the NLD is it’s rarely so close to the end of the season. So whatever happens usually by the time you get to the end of the season it’s almost a bit forgotten about. The fact we smashed them and it was so pivotal and so close to the end of the season means it’s really gonna linger through the summer. That’s absolutely horrible for them, I’d have hated if we’d have been on the wrong end. Then The £150m injection was just a beautiful kick when they were down.

I have had a glow about me every time I remember that we finished 4th and above them again. I know now that I would not have got over us not being 4th when we had put ourselves into such a good position to do so and despite putting a brave face on it I know they are all gutted about it. The best part of it is this is a gift that keeps on giving. We enjoy it now, all through the Summer as we wear our Spurs shirts on our holidays, hopefully getting first dibs on players who would rather play in the Premier European competition and then when the Champions League draw is made we get to enjoy it all again from inside the room while their faces are pressed against the glass looking on with envy. And to think, they could have had all this, all they had to do was not lose to us in the NLD!
