My priority now is to finish above West Ham, but generally just push up the league and make sure the good work continues.

None of us imagined at the start of the season that we'd have nothing to play for at this stage but personally I'm happy with our season. Europe is guaranteed, we have a trophy in the cabinet, a true world class coach and couple of awesome new defenders.

Looking back to the start of this season, did we really have a squad capable of challenging the top 4? In hindsight I don't think so, so lets just have a strong finish and then look forward to another summer of speculation and hopefully some quality new signings which will push us into the top 4.

Arsenal are looking good again so maybe we should be looking to take Liverpool's place in the top four.

But now is not the time to slacken off because we have nothing to play for. There are still 30 points to play for!

COYS!!

I'd like to see Newcatle relegated and Arsenal end the season tropheyless

Amen.

Would also like to see us treat these games as the springboard for next season. To build up a head of steam and to blood some youngsters. Especially Taarabt and Boateng, both have prem appearences, but now is the time to build their experience for next season.

JR 'n Gus got a job on to keep the team motivated

I disagree big time with that statement.

What Ramos has done with the players since taking over has been nothing short of brilliant.
A mass spending spree will occur during the summer by Ramos to mould this team into a top 4 unit. They are all playing for their futures at the club, so that will keep them all motivated

On a personal note, I would like to see us get to 40 points before we start blooding the youngsters in, I would also like to see Gilberto given a proper run on the left.

I'd like to see us keep our average goals scored (at home) per game at 3. We're on 37 at the moment from 13 home games. If we could do that, that would be immense!

The number of goals from the aforementioned 13 games has been 59! That's an average of seeing 4 and a half goals every time you go to the Lane!

For starters, I'd like to see us take full advantage of City having both first-choice CBs crocked and fill our boots. Then take it from there.

I think we should just keep plugging on. Beat Chelsea and Liverpool, and try to finish as high as we can.

Would be nice to see some youth come in especially Taarabt, Rose, and Peckhart.

Oh and I want to see Zokora score from open play.

Haha

With finishing like yesterday he could make a late run to be our top scorer

try different things, combinations etc and give us a look at a few potential first teamers from the youth and reserves, players that have already been mentioned, would be valuable experience and we need to know if they can cut it

don't waste the games on things we already know or play just a standard lineup, we have qualified for europe, near enough have enough points to stay up so we are in a very good position to try different things, this doesn't always happen, not this early at least

hopefully the above comes true and we have learned a few things by the end of the season and have given valuable experience to our potential future starters, its more important than wether we finish 10th or 11th etc

Talked about this very thing with my bro post Penalty shoot out last night. Specifically For man city i wouldn't mind seeing a virtual second string playing. certainly the core of last night being totally rested. I'd Go 451 with Bent uptop and both Tarrabt and Lennon given supporting roles. Ohara, Boateang and Taino as a central 3.. Kaboul and Dawson with gilberto and hutton in front of Cerny at the back.

the games after that mix up the team. (BUT send Ledley on holiday till July) would like to see Tarrabt be involved in all the remaining games and we should dip into the ressies for a couple of players like Pekhard and Devritte.

20 pts, loads a goals, top 10 finish above West Ham & Boro, and no serious injuries so we can start next season with the basis of a very good squad that will be augmented in the summer

That may not be achievable . Ask for something that is possible.

Definately want to see some second string given more games, but even more so make an impact on the team and the prem. Just to give Ramos and the others something to think about. The majority of the squad are playing for their futures at the club so when they get given a chance to impress, they should take it. Tarrabt, KPB are two that i'd like to see make an impact on the side.

I can't see complacency creeping in, i don't think JR or GP will allow that. They will want to finish as high as possible. I'd give last nights XI a rest for sunday, then crack on with the remaining 9 and finish as high as possible.

Don't often disagree with you, tRiKS, but the last time we put out a weakened team we came badly unstuck. City are without Richards, Dunne and Hamann, so there should be an opportunity for serious boot-filling. We need a comprehensive win to boost confidence after last night.

Rest Ledley, certainly (there may be no option anyway), but I'd certainly have Woody alongside Daws and Kaboul—Kaboul is carrying an injury, too. One of Keano and Berba alongside Bent, maybe O'Hara at LM and rest Steed and Chimbonda, maybe Jenas too. And what's the point of resting Robbo?

I'm all for giving youngsters a chance to make their mark, but not at the expense of results. I really don't want to break my time-honoured tradition of phoning up my brother-in-law and asking him what he thought of the game.

It's be nice to finish strong and show a sign of better things to come over the next few years. Give Ledley a break (holiday, not another injury) we can still play Woodgate and Dawson and it'd be nice if we can score a lot of goals.

59 is the record for the most home goals in the Prem followed by 55.

It's a very tall order for us to achieve this but we do have Newcastle left to play at home.

I think we could become only the 5th Premiership team to score 50 home league goals.

Has to be top-half of the table. Nothing less.

We are still too close to the bottom to take our foot off the gas, and therefore don't have the luxury of being able to bring others into the side for experience/experimentation.

We need to get top-half, if only to show that the Cup wasn't a fluke and that we really are a team on the rise!
