Good to read that. Hopefully more of the media pick up on this. Liverpool had a reason to be disgruntled but they have handled this situation with all the reasoning of a 2 year old. Its actually embarrassing and the fact they haven't made any statement about the abhorrent racism towards Udogie tells you all you need to know about their priorities.
The reason they ignore it is because they'd be issuing statements about it almost every week.

Bumped into one of my Liverpool supporting mates while waiting to pick the little'un up from school.

Tried to be humble with an underplayed "hard luck at the weekend mate" only for him to turn around f-ing and blinding saying he just knew he'd bump into me and I can f-off with all the other corrupt wankers out there :LOL::LOL::LOL:

Looks like they're going to appeal Curtis Davies red card. Probably expecting the FA to grovel and overturn it but I hope they see the challenge for what it was, a potential leg breaker, and increase the punishment. Entitled wankers!

Edit; From their point of view, if the appeal is turned down it's part of the conspiracy, and if the appeal is upheld it proves there is a conspiracy and red carding Jones was part of it. What can you do?

I keep hearing people say that Jones' foot skid off the ball. It's nonsense. When your foot skids off the ball, you'll see movement through the ankle.

It goes straight through, over the top. It's an awful tackle.

Were the decisions correct though..?
I suppose in this instance it doesn't matter as it illustrates that LiVARpool have had a greater net positive of VAR decisions in their favour than the rest, which would put to bed a conspiracy against them. If VAR didn't exist they would've been worse off and ironically we would have been better off based on those stats

His foot does roll over (maybe more his ankle/leg) the ball.

But he's stretching for the tackle, loses control of the tackle as gone in too high and rolls over the ball, and then pushes down onto Bissouma's leg making it bend backwards.

So I agree with them, he touched the ball and rolled over the top in some way, but still a clear red IMO.

You can see his foot is the other side of the ball as he goes in first, it then rolls over.

Nail, meet head

There are not many things in this world less Tory than the fine city of Liverpool, but its leading football club certainly here appears to be borrowing from the current Tory Party playbook of making loud and increasingly ridiculous noises as you tilt at windmills for the benefit specifically of your base while making everyone else think you might slightly have lost your minds.

It is at this point that the article starts actively antagonising Liverpool fans

...And I love it

this bit:
The silliest bit of all, though, is the closing intention to explore ‘the range of options available’. Firstly because those options comprise entirely of a) cry and b) cry more, both of which have now been quite fully explored,

Wow - Liverpool asking for all the audio from the VAR offside decision.

Either they know something already or they are going to look horrendously stupid. As they are basically accusing the referees of corruption. Not negligence or a mistake. As they already admitted making a mistake.

His foot rolls over the ball because his foot is over the ball. If you step over the ball your studs must be pointed down. It's a really basic one that but maybe they will overturn it just because of all the fuss about the offside. Honestly foot over the ball studs first has always been a red card. You can go studs first provided your foot is along the ground and not above the ball. Kane was OK because he slid low and was not over the ball when he did it.

Honestly... everything about this is hilarious. Comparing incidents is always a killer, has me howling, because some seem to feel that one justifies the other, or cancels the other out = when has that ever been the case? So if someone goes in a bit tough and the ref's not giving out a card, you can deliver a receipt later on? I can't seem to find that rule...

Hold on, maybe it's if you don't agree with a decision then you can simply make up a new rule and chase that mad dream by... no... nope, nothing about that either.

They're using the Jim White playbook here - act as if this thing that happened has never happened before and we should all be completely appalled, grab your pitchforks, "That is unbelievable, have you seen this?" - yes, we've seen it happen to us before. Ref's make the odd mistake, VAR was introduced to erase them and has been shown up on many, many occasions to be lacking in this department so yeah, I think they need to decide if they are so angry because it happened or if they're so angry because it happened to them. I am pretty sure you wouldn't be seeing them queue up to demand a game between United & City, or any other two teams, be replayed because of this error, and I don't see any other teams supporting this route they've chosen to take.

It's bizarre, it's very bizarre, but at least it's demonstrating to other teams that being so enormously butt-hurt that you do... well, this... just makes you look incredibly thin skinned and salty enough for me to be concerned about your cholesterol levels. What a strange world we live in.

My fav bit of the article

“With Ange Postecoglou – predictably enough in his now established role as the Premier League’s dad – also excellent on the limitations and false prospectus of VAR and its unachievable ideals of a flawless world, it may well have been a contender for the most ‘Spoke Well, I Thought’ post-match press conference of all time.”

🤣😂
