Palace really arent very good.
But they create a decent atmosphere at their ground and have fast attacking options that ‘could’ hurt us. It’s one of those places where you see a number of upsets. Obviously I’d like a W but on a Friday evening under the lights I’m hedging my bets…

I have absolutely no issue with us being completely outplayed and beaten on Saturday...

...because the Arsenal game is on Sunday.
The crazy thing is, i'm going to take my kid to a birthday party, the family are Spurs supporters too so I have no idea why they booked it for 2pm! unless of course they are too nervous to watch it. So I'm in a quandary whether to watch it and just make my husband go or go and eat myself silly at a beige buffet to forget!

Maybe they booked it a while ago before thee match was moved to the Sunday? You shouldn't have any issues Kirsty, just drop your yoot off, pat their head and tell them to have a great time and then it's away to the pub to watch the game! Nobody likes parents to stay at these things anyway, cluttering up the space, talking too loud and eating all the food!

My daughters birthday is on the weekend of the chelsea game. I've booked her party on a Friday, just to stop a potential clash.

  • Spurs.
    :cheesy:
  • Hold on Sheff Utd!
  • 12 mins ET in the Spurs game
  • Spurs equalise
    :anguish:

  • Spurs win too
    :anguish:

  • Fuck off
  • Fuck me some really disappointing late goals to drain the joy from the pre-game atmosphere.
  • New stoppage times rules already helping the more talented teams
  • What's the justification for 12 mins added time? Head injury?
  • Was hoping the Spurs wankathon was going to come to a grinding halt today. Guess not

  • Understatement of the year

I miss the animated smilies.

It just seems a completely pointless expression to me
Not sure why. It’s a football forum. We’re talking about our feelings about the next game, although tbf in the wrong thread.

I guess the point of the expression is to show that I still think a draw is a good result here, because we’re still a work in progress, we’re a couple of years behind Arsenal in squad-building, we’re away at a place we tend to shit the bed, I don’t want us to get too downhearted if we lose etc etc. That’s the point 😀. If you disagree then fair enough.

This reads like it has been written by someone with the emotional intelligence of a blancmange.

Blah blah blah, you're insufferable, my clubs bigger than your club...You're nothing, yet I have to willingly demonstrate why you are nothing in the most immature manner...

Sometimes I think children shouldn't be allowed Internet access.
I think I can easily profile this individual.. mid 20’s, lives at home with parents, studied a pointless degree, has extremely diverse friendship group of which none really like him, masturbates daily. Loves the smell of his fingers from finger fucking himself.

believes that using the option to use a slightly different term via the texting options makes him sound smarter. When I’m fact he sounds moronic.

he plays champ manager and believes this gives him a tactical nous others couldn’t possibly possess.

In short, he’s a knob.

Arsenal Mania
  • There's not a more insufferable creature in the universe than a Sp**s supporter.
Already cretinous due to having a laughable club badge, they inflate the importance of a club with less stature, historically, than Forest, Villa, Everton & Sunderland!!
God willing, their judgment is coming soon!!
  • Daniel Levy: "There is a buy back clause for Harry Kane." Via @ROTS1882 - Fan Forum
  • Better chance of Kim taking Kanye back.
  • If we’re to win vs PSV and especially Sp**s I think we need to click into gear
  • “[Arsenal] won't want to face us at this time.” - #Tottenham Captain, Son Heung-Min
  • Let them talk as always, after the game they can suck on my nuts.
  • When are we going to see the north London combined 11s?
Weirdly we didn’t see any of them in the buildup to the games last season…
Talking about God and judgement. Yet still supports one particular member of the squad.......

People get so triggered by the immature verbal vomit of opposing fans. I'd like to say that I have an Arsenal supporting friend who likes to talk about actual football and he's mildly concerned that we could turn them over this time. He's well aware that they turned their form around at the start of last season and there's plenty of evidence we are doing exactly the same thing now.

Personally I’m not too bullish but I enjoy people’s optimism. They are a good team and they did strengthen, every team have their weak elements though. I hope we go and play like the manager wants and then let’s see from there. It would be great if we could finally overturn our record there but it won’t define our season as long as we turn up and play in the right way.
This is really level headed. I do think we have what's needed in the midfield to get the better of them there and that gives me hope for a result.

See how quickly misinformation spreads? Its a lie mate and you know it. They prefer Cricket and always have done.,

Lies, damn lies!

(I'm not sure if the fact that the Murray boys are two of the most successful British tennis players in decades makes this less funny or more!)

I've said it before, one of my closest friends is a season ticket holder at the Emirates. We can sit and talk football all day, there is a bit of banter, but usually a fair conversion.

These people on arse mania are not reflective of proper fans.

Same as here mate. Mostly sensible posters and certainly a share of deluded/blinkered fans as well. I'd assume we get the worst of it posted here because, well, it's the lets all laugh at Arsenal thread or we are purposely looking for ridiculous posts.
