The first foul wasn't a booking.

Neither was Udogies yellow. However, udogie isn't a moron. Jota needs to be more like udogie.
I think you might have misunderstood - Jota committed a very cynical foul just outside the box on Bissouma soon after coming on which Gary Neville expressed surprise at escaping a yellow. Maddison made a fuss of it on the pitch which I suspect played a part in Jota getting carded for his next offence which was far more innocuous.

If you did understand that’s what
@gio747 was referring to then we’ll just agree to disagree because I thought that foul on Bissouma was a very clear yellow.

Even at the severely lowly levels I have played at I have known plenty of players that could do that ‘crossed paths, no way I meant it’ midfield trip. Not saying he did mean it but it is entirely plausible he did.

They got loads of bookings. I wasn’t surprised when they went down to nine as they were doing a lot of fouls in the transition throughout the game, even before the first sending off. They were having trouble coping with our attacking play and that’s why they ended up losing players to red cards.

And jota should have had a nailed on yellow before that. Anyone who doesn’t see that as Jotas own stupidity has no idea
I was sure this is why the ref booked him because it came shortly after the last foul where he probably should have been booked

Is there a particular scouse YouTuber who is especially bitter? Ideally one with the spittiest accent going? They must be wearing full kit or failing that, I guess a shell suit. I want to savour the phlegmy shrieks in all their splendid glory and go to bed sated with knowledge of their suffering.

Honestly even without that line this still doesn’t prove anything. In that still he is “onside” but there are two players blocking the ball so how do we know it’s the right still? Next frame along Diaz will be “offside” and we still will have no idea. Replay the match haha, we didn’t get anything when Pedro Mendes scored against Utd.
This is made funnier by the fact the person who disliked this post is called ‘offside_ruel_fox’

Edit - he’s removed the rating, rendering this post weird. Fat thumb fucker.

Cry me a River, Pool fans. The chuffing luck they’ve had over us for five years, and we get one bonkers call go our way. Get the hell over it. It’s called Karma.

Fine bemoan the absurd offside call. (Which by no means was a precursor to them winning the game). But both red cards (especially Jota) were justified.

Big whoop. Boo hoo. Get over it. And just count the dozen or more lucky blessings you’ve had over us for six years. All things being equal, they are winning the luck game be a wide margin.

I mean, when I think of what feels like years of the worst luck to Liverpool in much bigger moments, I could not give two shits if they feel hard done by.

And by the way, we’ve had so many ****y decisions go against us over and over again, especially against the bigger teams. Pedro Mendes, Gomez (against Utd when their player scored from what was supposed to be our free kick) Sissoko in the CL final, Andy Robertson, Jota last year, Balotelli stamping on Parker’s head, Vertonghen beautiful goal ruled out for offside even though he was in his own half when he broke through, and many, many more. Those were just off the top of my head.

Fuck Liverpool and fuck Klopp. Finally had a bit of luck with the offside and I’ll take that. Their fans trying to say we’re shit when they should be blaming the ref sums them up. Love being written off, will happily go under the radar all season if it means a challenge.

All fans everywhere hate the fact that we should be shit because of our form last season plus losing Kane. But actually we’re rather good…. Can’t lie, would’ve loved Kane today but we still did it in the last minute without Maddison, Son, Bissouma or Udoghi on the pitch. LOVE IT!!

Totally agree mate but wasn't Jan's offside goal against Sunderland?
