If he had broken Bissoumas leg I’m sure everyone on tv would be saying “definite red” but the severity of the injury has no bearing on the colour of the card.

I love how they're saying we had no clue how to beat 9 men. We put in a dangerous cross and someone turned it in. We put the pressure on and in the end they cracked.

If you pressure the opponent's box then sooner or later you'll get a goal, a pen, a deflection. We did that and it won us the game.

And as for the celebration, let's be honest, if Liverpool had got a point they'd have celebrated just like we did.

To be fair, we didn't know. Even Ange said it. We got lucky in the end.

Yeah - he booked Udogie for a tackle where he clearly wins the ball but his trailing leg catches the player after he’s won and cleared the ball.

Pundits often don’t know the rules particularly well. It’s serious foul play and I quote:

“A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.

“Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.”

Nothing to do with intent, or being that kind of lad.

Equally thought Klopp was being quite reasonable but he couldn’t help himself

would actually say the Nketiah one on our GK is even a clearer red as he was totally out of control but yeh it’s a red. Don’t get the anger on the Jones one, that’s a tackle 20 years ago that would have been a yellow but not today, you can’t do that in modern football.
