It doesn't matter what Curtis Jones 'meant' or intended to do ....

He was out of control and it was a dangerous tackle.

Its a red.

The red card rule is fine as it is. If you can't make a tackle without dangerously going too high for the ball so that your studs glance the top, roll over it and into the planted leg of your opponent, then you shouldn't be on the field.

This. I have not seen this kind of media uproar and crying over a bad ref descision ever. They are screaming that it is match fixing and the saudis are involved etc now.
i just keep replying with a combined picture of the last 4 years of Sisoko "handball" Jota studs to Skipp face, the scoring with the last kick of the ball. Robertson studs on tanganga and the VAR offisde under the covid lockdown when the lines were completely over each other, all went against us.

Cry me a river, time they got one back!

Conspiracy yet their own player scored the winning goal? 😂
Still think Allison should have seen a bright, yellow card thrust into his face for delay of game for batting the ball into the net after Matip's delicious finish. That would have been a great pic.

Typical Liverpool fan.

What a wanker.
The thing is, their actual genuine fans are just so over the top you spend the entire video thinking, 'Is this a parody?'.

Some of it is baffling, I love Spurs but if we are on the receiving end of that VAR call, I think I'd just make myself a coffee (after picking my TV back up), I'm not going to video my ramblings or start a fucking petition.

Yep, I'd just move on from it.

More important things in life.

From RAWK….

Are they actually living in a different dimension ?

We were better than them with 11 players,we were far better than them with 10, with 9, again we were by far the better team.

This may have ended up as 3 points lost, however, this was 3 points gained on both a moral and kudos front, we were simply put, fantastic.

I believe (in my humble opinion) this result will do nothing to the team in the moral terms, and if anything, it will galvanise the team, not damage it. If anything and not that it needs it - but the fan base also will push on from this.

Bar the comical officiating of this game, we took this game to spurs and they know full well what was really the long term gauge to the league of this game - We will win the league. I’ve said it to our crew before Villa and nothing has changed in my view, if anything, it’s added to it.

Think I’m just going to stay here for the rest of the season. Not sure even winning the league beats this.

This absolute whooper…

I don’t understand how someone’s mind works like this…

So what is the comsensus here as to what will happen?

scenario 1) The match is replayed over a full 90 minutes due to less than competent officiating unduly influencing the result

scenario 2) The match carries on 10 vs 11 with us 1-0 up from 34 minutes?

scenario 3) We get awarded 1 or 3 points due to unfairly having a goal chalked off.

scenario 4) The VAR team and referee get sacked from all future football officiating.

scenario 5) The VAR team and referee get a short paid holiday and are then reinstated to cause further havoc in the future.

I'd accept any of the first 4 but I expect it will be 5.

Did liverpool really create a lot? Bar the double save and the goal, I can't really remember a decent chance for them
