I'll always remember when West Ham signed Tevez and Mascherano, they had fans on SSN talking about how they'll be challenging for the title

You can see why we're so hated across the league. Somehow everyone from Arsenal down to Leicester in the Championship think we are their rival for a league place.

I was wondering why. Top teams don't want competition, lower teams are jealous. Makes sense

It's understandable. We were meant to be irrelevant once Kane left. Put back in our box to thrash around in mediocrity with the Palaces and Wolves of this world.

We've been incredibly rude in not pissing off to suffer our fate without complaint.

'Oh, look at this rival team winning a foul! If it were my team, we'd get nothing for that. And look at what that rival player did! You bet if that were our player he'd be sent off.' - random supporter of any club in the world

  • If Spurs could go back to being Spurs and drop 2-3 silly points at Luton today I'd appreciate it.
  • Howay Luton
  • Why are Spurs wearing a brown strip?! Twats!
  • It's to represent their shit finishing perhaps?
  •
    You fucking mug, Bissouma.
  • Good news both for now and the games coming up
  • Written in stone that Spurs will win this 1-2 in injury time with a late counter and goal from Son. Annoying.

  • Its a terrible watch. They have no idea how to take advantage out of this.
  • The Spurs wankathon continues then
  • I’m not having Spurs at all. Bar the second half v Arsenal. I just never see them and think they look really impressive. I know they had a half against 11 today, but still.
They keep winning and they’re top of the league, so what do I know

I do like Ange, and all. Seems a decent fella
I love how EVERY fan base is writing us off and saying we’re shit, whilst still unbeaten, now I don’t think we’re gonna win the league, but flying under the radar and being shit is pretty good eh?

1 season in the top 4 and they’re carrying on like they’re hardened CL regulars.
Come across as a deeply unpleasant bunch.
They’ll be back to being as insufferable as villa were when we was all battling it out for the europa, was so happy when both got relegated.

I'm so confused by Villa and how they perceive themselves. Truly odd
I think you have to look at it in context. Last year they were in the mix. I know a few of the bigger clubs weren’t in the mix like they normally would be, but nevertheless they ave a good account of themselves.

This summer we sold our talisman, brought in a relatively unknown manager and went down the route of less well established signings. We massively struggled particularly at the back end of last year. This has created the impression that it was our level.

Utd have a similar impression. Villa and Brighton will both have good seasons but they will need to be significantly better than last season to get into a CL spot as more clubs are firing.

Agree, in fact half of our matches so far have been against teams who finished ninth or higher in the league last season: Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Brentford.

After this weekend, Arsenal will have also played four of their eight matches against teams from last year’s top nine: Man C, Man U, Us and Brentford.

Liverpool too will have played half their matches versus top nine teams by the end of this weekend.

I suppose what stands out is we have played the three promoted teams but Liverpool and Arsenal have also played matches against teams like Forest, Everton and Wolves, who we would expect to beat on current form. They have also both played Bournemouth.

Still got to win them.

Opposition fans saying we’ve only played x, y and z is just them hiding their insecurities because they thought we’d be awful without Kane. We will undoubtedly face some tough times this season for them to revel in but until then they will have to suck it up.

They're hilariously blaming us for winning the game and the officials being poor.

I'm just reminding them that Allison was their MOTM with 7 saves and if not for him it would have been a lot worse

His positioning for our first goal is absolutely terrible. Check it out, if it’s better he stops the ball getting to Son. They made so many mistakes in that game and deserved to lose.

It's like the Brighton game, they are out in force saying gross shouldve had a red card.

However, if Robertson uses his right leg, then dunk doesn't score.

I heard Danny Murphy talk about how they are title contenders because the finished the game well. I didnt see that. I thought it was pretty even.
