How funny would it be if City have an off season and we won it.
They'd be depressed forever 😂😂😂
Meh they'd just call us Leicester or say 'come back when you've won it unbeaten' or 'come back when you've won it 20 times'... There's no scenario where people would be happy as there's always something to come back with in the name of banter.

It's why we should always enjoy the ride rather than just focus on the destination

Yeah but sadly this year its 4 clubs challenging, so wed need Arsenal Liverpool and City to be off.
We don't need Arsenal and Liverpool to be off necessarily, because we're good enough to go toe-to-toe with them. It's City who in a good year could hit 100 and be uncatchable - it's them we need to not do that if we're going to have a chance.

I don't believe we have the strength in depth that they do to compete over a full season. We would need incredible luck with injuries to have a shot at it.

Jesus wept

We’re 8 games into a new season with a new manager and half a new squad playing a new style of football and doing pretty well at it and enjoying it.

And we’re concerned that some ignorant opposition fans might feel the need to go back into their archives to find sticks to beat us with because they’re already feeling insecure?

Fuck em all

They’re worried.

That’s all we need to know about them.

True, but we do also have the January window and no European or League Cup football. There's a chance there. There isn't a chance if City had a great year, but it looks like they possibly won't.

If we won the league, I don't think any Spurs fan would give a second thought to what other fans have to say.

It depends on which Spurs team turns out to play our lads. Son is the one we must put someone on from the whistle and he is now 31 years old but faster than Vardy who is scoring in the Championship but would not be doing so now in the Prem. The best I can predict is probably a low scoring draw, because of our deficiencies in both defence and attack. Put someone younger up front and we will score goals.
-
Easy money you know Fulham never beat Tottenham get down your local bookies and put £50 on for Tottenham to win you’ll thanks me afterwards.
-
I bearing in mind last nights events in Belgium and the spurs fan base and the area and the liklehood of escalation dose anybody think the game could be called of on crowd safety issues
-
Reassuring that Mr. H. Kane is looking forward to playing in the Euro's. Let's hope we get a new England manager by then and perhaps he won't pick a cereal loser. Look at Tottenham since he left. Coincedence?
-
Solomon injury Is called Karma!
-
No' this isn't Karma and the Aussie likes Solomon and he will be back in the Spurs line up when fit again. Just take a look at their position in the table? Look at how many big time charlie managers have come in at Tottenham and have done nothing. Solomon will be chilling out with his feet up and he will be back in when fit. We are the idiots again for letting the good ones go...

The only one who's dropped his cornflakes is the person posting such drivel.

Eh?
How I know Tottenham isn't the nicest of places (see earlier in this thread! 😁) but blimey this bloke is linking some pretty weird dots to think that the game may be called off.

Not sure I agree we were battering Liverpool. They were the better side until the first red IMO.
Thought it was very even until that point. Both sides had similar chances. It's just they pinned us back but we had a lot of possession in our own half.

Exactly, they’d just find a way to hate us more and that would be brilliant as far as I’m concerned! We’d all certainly need to keep a close eye on our salt intakes! Let them seethe.
