To be fair, we are facing the Champions of Europe. Like Villa they are ahead of us now after last season. They're the favourites but if we can just cling on and try and nick a win that would be a great result.

I was really hoping we'd draw Leyton Orient in the FA Cup. Would've been great to see the English champions at our stadium...

Staggers me that so many other teams fans have such strong opinions of our squad.

Me? Couldn't give a shit about any other team, probably couldn't name another starting eleven in the league.

I DO know that Matty Cash is a soppy little soft cock who likes trying to physically injure players on purpose but, honestly, couldn't tell you anything else about him other than he looks like someone photocopied a picture of Jack Grealish too many times and deep fried it. But that's about it really.

For real. Ryan Shawcross actually looks like a perfectly mentally stable and sane person if you compare him with Matty Cash.

Just our luck to meet European Champions in 2 consecutive games.

I reckon the ref thought Grealish was offside so called it back quickly to give City the free kick.

anyway, like you say, from where he was, 50/50 at best, his chance of scoring.
Emerson pulled up quickest. Think on full sprint he'd gave got to him and Vic would also have got out and may have blocked his angle. 👋

I haven't seen an angle from the refs position - I wonder whether he couldn't see Grealish (particularly as powder blue and mushroom grey aren't too dissimilar a palate) and thought Haaland had just played the ball into our half and lost possession?

Grealish could well have missed even if he got through 1 on 1 , he has not exactly been on fire this season
any way shit happens

If Davies didn’t get him, Vicario would have.
TBH Royal would have got him well before the 1 vs 1

Emerson Royal, is the fastest player of the 4 pictured. He's shortened the gap between the first and second image. Its a shame the whistle was blown as then they couldn't hide behind their frankly poor second half display

Pep now winding up the City fans even more by making excuses for his players’ behavior toward the ref: “It’s human instinct “. To be a disrespectful twat? To be obnoxiously entitled? To be a pathetic long-haired, temper tantrum toddler?

This is another reason i love Ange. I doubt he would ever say something like that. Quite the opposite. He reenforces the importance of respect and accountability. To be humble and hungry. To live up to a higher standard required to be a person of unimpeachable character and indefatigable integrity.

This 100%

Unfortunately lack of a moral compass and deflection are the norm these days, it seems. I watched the game again today, and how that f*cking Norwegian Cave Troll avoided a red card or any sanction/punishment from the FA and/or PL is beyond belief!

Also is a good example of how inconsistent officiating has been this season. Apparently there is meant to be a zero tolerance policy for players bitching at refs. But Thor’s—two-thirds to an idiot second cousin—can apparently have an absolute shit fit without repercussions. Definitely not worthy of Mjonir.

You can clearly see Porro and Emerson turn to the ref and ask to blow the whistle in the last frame. Corrupt!

Absolutely love the weird metrics fans use. I was just saying to my mate the other day that whisper it quietly, but I think Coufal may have as many assists as Udogie and Porro combined and it'd be really embarrassing if anyone found that out.

I know that swap deals very rarely happen in football, but I would be all for swapping Porro and Udogie for Vladimir fucking Coufal.
The numbers don't lie people.
