I think you're making it up as you go along. Nowhere in the rules of the game does it mention the interpretation you stated.

@Luka Van der Bale and @Yid-ol if you guys want to get into football it's a good idea to learn the rules.

What an arrogant response...

I disagreed with apart of what you said, I know the rules and how they are applied on the pitch, no need to be a twat about it.

The rules are if it is deliberate, but we know from penalties that if an arm is in a position that isn't deemed natural and the ball strikes the arm then it's given even though it's not a deliberate act.

There are a few in here who cannot help themselves. Even though it's the "What are our opponents saying", they'll have a mass d bate over anything.

Are we still debating the debate over that handball? This is the what our opponents are saying thread and I don't see anything said about them ;)

So back on topic. From Arsenal mania.

Spurs and United will get pummeled by loads of sides in the EL, no way they are favourites ffs. Napoli Dortmund Sevilla Porto Villarreal etc all piss on both, Valencia do too if they get rid of the fraud in charge.
United maybe, but Spurs have something about them now. They have a cohesive, fit and firing team with a solid manager

We must absolutely respect them, and their game at the moment. They are looking very strong.

Wenger needs to adopt the pragmatism he usually goes for when top 4 is under threat. We have the ability to beat any team put before us in the league, bar City arguably.

Difficult match to come against them, but we have the ability to take all the points.

Rose, Davies, and Trippier, as good as they are offensively, aren't anything special defensively. They often leave their posts in the back to help in attack, with Dier dropping into the back line to form a back 3.

We need to draw them in, intercept, and fire the ball up to a quick attack of Alexis, Welbeck, Walcott, and/or Chamberlain, all of which I reckon can take on their CBs. Vertonghen out can only help us as well.

If we progress through EL we're going to have some great Thursday night games to look forward to. Looking forward to seeing this team get tested against those sides .

Arsenal fans really have no knowledge on the real game and rely on what they've learnt from the FIFA games.....I'm surprised they just don't say give the ball to Cech, get him to take on the whole Spurs team and score a worldie from 35 yards.

It works on FIFA, i might just work on the 5th March.

what if sterling is near the middle of the goal, a shot comes in and its clearly going in the net but sterling turns his back, strikes his arm and it goes past the post. Is it a penalty ?

WTF? I'm reading the "What our fans are saying about handball" thread and I find something about what our opponents' fans are saying about us? Sort it out, mate! This is more offtopic than the ITK thread ever gets.;)

And then when we did qualify that Gooner tosspiece didn't take it seriously and we got knocked out by fucking Kaislerslauten.

I had a few quid on Iversen 1-0 in the home leg though. So not all bad!
