Anyone a member over on Bluemoon or WoolwichMania? Can we perhaps get you to start a thread and get their opinion on the ford/bridge situation?

I would suggest asking a Chelsea forum, but it wouldn't take long before one of their fans tried to decipher Stamford Bridge and heads would start a'sploding.

Meanwhile, which thread do I go to to find out what our opponents' fans are thinking?
Just looked through Dortmund forums. Obviously they are not worried about the match at all. They are more concerned, discussing about the disciplinary hearing and European matches behind the closed door as penalty.

as a taxi driver in that area I'm afraid to say 3-4 parts of it lowers it to not being posh:whistle:

Nope unless they all hide when I pop down there

Hence the question mark. I was brought up over that way but haven't been back for over 20 years. Gone downhill?

No, Oxford should be on the list, the bit I lived in anyway (Cowley).
Technically Cowley is a town in Greater Oxford but not Oxford proper -- proof is that it has an Oxford Road while Oxford has a Cowley Road, so you know how to get from one town to the other.

Dortmund would seem to mean the mouth of the river Dort, but it isn't near the sea and I'm not sure there's a Dort. We may need to ask our opponent's fans.

Re: Spurs
No pressure on us. Chances are Spurs will be a bit too good no matter what we do, but that's ok. They're one of the few sides who've seriously impressed us, and in fact battered us for periods, they're a class act.

If they feel some title chasing pressure and don't fully show up, then maybe we can get something, and that'd be fantastic. But we're in the fortunate position of not having to worry. I suspect a good old fashioned plucky Bournemouth defeat. Not had one of them in a while....

Rest Arter if he's still remotely doubtful. Same with Gradel. Take no risks.

Sadly the re-arrangement foiled my plans to attend.

Can't believe you people have turned one of the best threads on the forum into a spamfest.

Here's some posts from Bournemouth's Spurs thread on vital football:

"I see that Spurs fielded a weakened team in the EL last night, Kane on the bench...saving themselves for a bigger challenge on Sunday? :))"

Apparently not happy at not being able to bring bags into WHL:

"No rucksacks. There are many who will take one so be prepared. Wonder if they will look after them during the game? Pompous, puffed up to$$ers."

"In the current security climate..Sorry, I must agree with Spurs.

And Bandwagon's, don't take this as a racist post, but with the Jewish influence in the club, they are probably more aware of the threat than any other club.

And just to add..I am jealous of all who are going. One of the grounds I wanted to tick off."

"Was there last night didn't notice too many issues with bags etc, security was tight but then it is a London stadium and as Al says best to be safe. Was asked to unzip my jacket for a search but a few thousand Dortmund fans got in with big flags and drums!

...btw Spurs were rubbish but had rested Erikson,Kane,Dembele and Walker......think that Wimmer is a it of a weakness so hopefully King can exploit him a bit. The home fans were pretty noise before Dortmund scored but then started to get on the players backs....so if we can frustrate them early doors we have a chance If we can keep Kane quiet!"

"Lots of ifs there Garbo! I think a player with Kane's intelligence and movement will probably cause us all sorts of problems.

While I won't be down on our chances of winning, of course it's possible, I'll put a fiver on one of our back four losing Kane at a set piece or cross and him scoring from it."

The general feeling was they are not confident but clinging onto a little hope.

To backup dontcallme and help repair this thread, some Dortmund nuggets from forum.westline.de via google translate:

me it is still a mystery why the Spurs the EL as simple "abschenken" ... I want it right but as a Tottenham fan, I would be pretty pissed off to be!
---

They want to be masters and therefore the Europa League is for them a secondary matter.
---

The explanation is the potential (direct) Qualifying for the CL for me. The league title as candy goes on top. Both are essential for sustainable Tottenham. The EL-title is not within reach and the burden of this contest should be as little as possible impact on the league. If the B-team progresses, then take that with you.

MM n. Must UEFA make more interesting this competition. distribute more money and possibly open more qualifying opportunities for the CL.

Example: semi-finals in the EL and one may play in the next season in the summer in the qualifying rounds for the CL. In finals one can participate in the CL next season.

And the missing money may UEFA are looking at themselves. The get through their marketing share enough money they could give back to the clubs.
---

Now it is hopefully with ease in the next round. My prediction: Tottenham is even more regulars conserve, therefore BVB easy easy can play.
---

Better, we respond to Tottenham [trying] it, as we after 0. 3 of Madrid It's still football, and we go into arrears, then quickly germinates hope. If we stay focused, but then we do not fall behind and the first goal for us, the fair is then read. That should be the goal.
---

Unlike Tottenham Dortmund has however not abgeschenkt the first leg before, so it would surprise me greatly if they want to move in there at any price in the next round.
---

I would go this far. There were 3 key players on the pitch, 4 if you Wimmer this counts because Vertonghen is zzt injured.
Defensive he has the two AVs rausgenommen, with decoding the midfield stabilizer and Dembele was not allowed to also ran.
---

If he thinks that's enough to have solid chances to zero [draw] with us, then he must be pretty naive or simply have no idea of what happens outside the PL that
----

This again I think PL-typical and very possible
----

Would Poch do not something ridiculous when he only abschenkt to spare and then pivoted around and for the minimal chance everything raushaut? Somehow, then also the first leg would give more significance when he signaled that it actually still take the competition seriously, but in Dortmund simply stopped going. It would also not quite fit for Villa to save everything and then rauszuhauen everything before Bournemouth.

So NEN stark decline in performance as Tottenham will be seen not with us because our bank is simply much stronger. At Tuchel shoes would do no complete rotation, but can also play no one feels tired.
---

Quite so blatant I would not judge. They may have omitted a few offensive players, but MMN with the goal as long as possible to keep a zero. That plan was only by the shape of the enemy something in the pants [google translate].
----

I read a lot in Tottenham forum, it is actually the primary goal CL.
In the championship they hope still, but realistically they are very happy when they are not caught even from behind.
It's just the first time since tens of years that they are as far forward and possibly again for a long time the last time.

Why was ahead of the game already consensus that one should preserve to beat Aston Villa (!). (That could easily be good results against all the other competitors scored)

When the formation was so crass, but many were shocked and found the then again not right.

I am now really believe that he will not put up the first team again, as it would otherwise not credible.

But - what surprised me. The procedure there all about the money - we do not buy enough to a 2nd good strikers - it is sufficient only for the first 11 - then nothing more comes with quality etc. One wrote that CL would be so important, since one would finally get then so much money.

How can that be where it always is, get as much money from TV deals? It was said but that the last get there more than the buyers. In relation to TV monies CL funds would then but Cl hardly carry weight - right? At least it seemed to me as if T'ham not one cent more available has as the average club at us and I was very surprised by all the reports.
----

if you managest crappy kannste much money have as you please
one which is the pl, there is nothing more I am surprised.
peep Get the expenditure on from shity or united, and then read in redcafe the many reviews the roll over with buzz that would still invest to you again would be reasonably well .. just funny
especially if you then shoot those troops ausm stadium.

due to this:

not be distracted by the weakness in the first leg, full pot draufgehen, the thing to win and be a round further
---

I go uch believes that Tottenham will try everything the first 15-20 minutes to score a goal ... We just have to be careful, keep hand and stand safely. Survive we the initial phase without conceding dwindling hope and we pounced mercilessly. My tip: 1: 3
---

na because we can be glad that we are trained not of klopp. when I think of the first minutes in the past year.
---

Tottenham know not how to play against us. Do they play counter with an open visor, then we can make and quickly nen goal - then must have 5 shooting and the thing is through. Play it from the back, then make sure that never 3 goals against our strengthening defensive.
---

I'm easy to see just horny play with this fc again. Once the final whistle is I'm already hot again on the next match.
[results of years of regular tv porn channel exposure out there]

Unbelievable how dominant we encounter. The yes all have ever had no chance against us the last games.
Have me the past few weeks often asked whether I should be happy about this type of football or rather cry because it is not enough at the end to a (deserved) championship. Now it is for me nurnoch pure joy. I just hope that you can somehow hold the fc. Because then it will abgehn the years to correct.

Horny thing that wars
[Auba's goal + another horny translation - maybe a google translate programmer mucking around?... maybe just the germans IDK]

So this must be it
---

Auba also has beautiful hair
[pfft, not quite to the level of hair game offered by our Mason or Toby]
---

Man man bvb is also more boring. No action today. No thrills with nails chew. Tuchel out! That must now be said times!
[joking obv. or an SC infiltrator - I'm unsure, but it's suspect]
---

With the guide, the game does look quite relaxed. Particularly tingling I do not find our game but. Has everything a little clumsy and offensive actions we are quite cumbersome. The physical play the Spurs prepares us apparently problems.
By the way: If there is really only to me so that let our players quite often loaded by slight body deceptions? If I have frequently.
---

Once again an opponent dominated. Class game with a miserable chance conversion. Castro, Micky and Weigl for me were the best yesterday. Really nice to see tackle a game after another as the players. All are from the outset at the level and fully focused. I would like to praise even more our coach. Incredibly variable with his lineups. And he is doing at present always get it right. Opponents really don't know how we act tactically. Since we got a tactically superior coach.
---

Pity, Micki [the gifted backpass]. But overall a very solid performance of our boys.
