We all know football fans are a fickle bunch and I don't think he was exactly flavour of the month when he ditched them for Real Madrid.

My boss is an Inter fan, and a good buddy of mine is too. And they love him, he's god to them for winning them the Champions League. And they cheer Maureen on when he wins with Chelsea, cause they know I hate him and the club. Bastards!

Some of the reactions for Derby fans to Tom Carroll arriving on loan....

Can honestly say I don't think in my relatively short time with season ticket at the club (10 years), I have disliked a Derby player as much as I did Tom Carroll.

If we do sign him I wish him all the luck in the world, but as I say I really wasn't a fan when he was here, and he's hardly set the game alight since then.

I hated Jake Livermore more, but it was very close. Apparently he's now a 'good premier league' player but I refuse to believe it. He'll always be dogsh*te to me

Technically Carroll is a good player just not sure he is what derby need at the moment. Technically he was a class above anything at derby when he came but was too lightweight for the championship at the time. Anyway I would rather play Hughes now but if we can gave him as backup for free then ok.

Don't think Carroll is a bad player, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Same with QPR. His agent should be asking himself what he's doing for the kid.

I think they've sold more of their top players to Barca alone than we have sold ours at all in recent times. Same goes for them selling to City too.

Who got too big for Arsenal?

A Cole
Henry
Adebayor
Sagna
Fabregas
Clichy
Song
Nasri
Van Persie
Toure
Hleb
You've left Santos and Bendtner off that list but its a shocking total al the same!

i agree, pointless friendly that will do nothing but drain morale if we get beat....after last weeks result in CL we should be concentrating on overturning that and sorting a workable system with the squad we have not fucking of to finland to play a stupid game for no reason other than making a few quid that wont be reinvested in the first team.

look how easy spurs pass the ball around our players, wtf have our coaches been teaching the youth?

Friendly or no friendly this is going to be embarrassing

Men against boys, literally........gonne be a sore one this.

Come on guys, give it a rest. Who gives a fuck if they trash us 10-0? Friendly games are about fitness and about trying new formations and new players (in this case youngsters).

our 1st team would likely get skelped rotten by this multimillionaire EPL team
never mind the youngsters so i'm hoping the youngsters give their all and keep playing even if we are getting pumped dont need anymore heads going down

To be fair I imagine Spurs fans have the same concerns. They've got a few good youngsters who did well in the nextgen but don't think any have been given a chance, except for Harry Kane who seemed to put Soldado to shame in a couple games near the end of last season

No, they are not fit enough. And as you can see you have different youngsters playing. They should try to impose themselves in order to be near first team during forthcoming season, they should be aware that they are playing against top 5 team from EPL and they need to give all they can during a game like this. After a game like this, our typical youngster should be aware how good he is compared to guys like Soldado, Eriksen, etc, and he should be motivated to work even more in order to improve himself. I really don't understand all the negativity, but each to their own.

spurs fast 1 touch passing and great movement moved our players all over the shop and the space was created

ambrose was 2 yards in front of holby and a touch to the right which is why he couldnt block the pass

they just have much better players than us simple as that

but its a good work out

A few gooners seem to think that Southampton don't want to sell us Scheiderlin because they consider us on the same level and don't want to sell to a rival. But they'd sell to Arsenal because they're much better than us!!! Numb brains are reading the Daily Express which says it all.

I don't think I'd put Southampton on our level. Especially as we beat them twice even with Tim in charge and them having all these great players and manager.

The Horse is suggesting Southampton don't want to sell to Spurs as they are close rivals, which matches up with the suggestions Southampton were willing to listen to us (but rejected our offers as being too low).

According to @GFN_France, Arsène Wenger spoke with Schneiderlin about a transfer during the World Cup. Giroud urging the boss to sign him.

Schneiderlin is what's best for the team, exactly what we need in midfield.

I really like what happened here. Southampton don't want to sell to Tottenham because they stole the manager and they see them as rivals as they are on the same level.

If we are really interested in Schneiderlin, then we will get him.

Here's what United think of us. Considering the season they've just their arrogance is galling.

Some of the comments were ok but you know you have a problem when the Liverpool fan is the voice of reason... The moment Toela is the voice of reason on here is the moment I delete my account.

I did laugh out loud at the glue sniffer who thought de Gea was better than Lloris.
If you're going to rank goal keepers it's Lloris/Courtois and then everybody else
