Some interesting comments about Charlie Adam and his assault on Bale yesterday. Fair play to a lot of them, they obviously realise he's a bit of a cock.

I will literally slash Charlie Adam in the face, the next time he comes back up to Glasgow ! I actually said something similar, about 18 months ago, when he pegged Bale badly. He's pegged Bale twice, also been redded against us, and I'm sure he also pegged one of our other players as well. The guy is an overweight, ape like thug of the lowest common denominator, and for that reason, the only language he will understand and feel at home with is when I go at him with a chib on a street corner ! ;)

He might mistake it as a come on though.

It's just not necessary. It's lazy and unthinking (uncaring). He had no chance of winning the ball and just by sticking his foot in there is likely to catch an ankle etc.

He's been well and truly and found out at this level. Fuck off back to your Rangers fitba pish.

I had to stop reading RAWK, its hard to believe how low their support stoop, especially when given their whiter than white image in the past.

How can supporters of a team with Suarez and Gerrard in it call Bale the biggest cheat in the PL??

Someone show them the Ledley King video when his marking led to Suarez throwing himself round the pitch like a rag doll.

Luckily I only have two mickeys to listen to, and not too often either.

I've just been reading the comments under some of the Chelsea- AC Milan match reports (Milan won 1-0 for the record) and it's quite reassuring to see that they're all doom mongering about the upcoming season too! We need a striker...we can't make the final ball...we look sluggish, etc.

I'm always inclined to think that these pre-season friendlies mean bugger all (especially when you're essentially playing in a sauna) but I do think, based on what i've seen that having Torres as a sole striker is going to be a real problem for them (and they're a week ahead of us in terms of pre-season prep but look just as slow). Good!:D

We had an astounding pre-season...just before we picked up 2 points from 8 games under Wandery Ramos (as another former THFC manager was fond of reminding us :sneaky:).

To be fair that didnt look too bad, foul and not likely to ever get the ball, but you see worse than that quite often.

I felt that in real time, and when seen from the left, but in the final angle, from the right, you can see that he rakes his foot, studs first down to his ankle, it's not even like he just goes for the ball misses and lands on Bale's ankle. His foot would never have been that high and at that angle if he was just trying to win the ball.

Twice now (same ankle I think), first time he definitely looked down at Bale's ankle and stamped, this time it's horrible and doesn't look wholly accidental - like I said, it is like he is deliberately trying to ruin Bale's career

He did the same to Ji Sung Park (I think it was him) on the last day of that season when he gave away a penalty. Went in stamping without looking. You don't try and win the ball by stamping on it.

Edit - just remembered, that was the one that wasn't even given as a penalty.

The guy is a prized prick, let's hope Sandro the enforcer sorts him out next time round.

I can't think of any circumstance ever where stamping on the ball is of any value.
The FA, like the cretins they are, have outlawed the tackle from behind (which should, rightly, have been going straight through someone from behind) to the extent that even a fair and skillful tackle winning the ball cleanly from the general direction of behind is outlawed, with no attempt at clarification, and yet take no action on a movement that can have no purpose whatsoever but to do damage even when the video evidence is right in front of their faces.

Fortunately I only know one scouser and he's a Toffee, can't even bring himself to say the name of the red lot, so at work we regularly share our hatred.

So its clearly not just RAWK. Utterly pathetic.

Bale deserved it for faking an injury to miss the Olympics, he's a dick head.

Don't worry we gave him all the abuse and boos we could at the stadium when he went down

Love it.

Well done Charlie.

Give that Welsh *** something to actually stay on the floor for.

If he was so injured after the tackle then he shouldn't have risked playing on until half-time.

God I hate Spurs. Please smash them to pieces this season LFC.

What's a Welsh *** - I'm struggling to come up with any abusive three letter terms

I love it that they hate us with so much passion, just shows the twin trajectories representing our two clubs - we are very much in the ascendent and they are very much in a downward spiral.

As for the rest of it, idiots.

No, it isn't. Toela made a convincing argument about RAWK being their kindergarten nursery where the mentally diminished hang out and mentioned several other pool forums where the normals hang out.

The differences were minimal. Est1892 was OK. A fair few of the usual crap but at least a few roamed within its confines that seemed aware and able to focus. Hardly the pciture of serene discourse though.

It's not a RAWK problem.

Saw some thick fucking scouser posting on Twatter that Adam couldn't possibly be jealoud of Bale because Bale was the ugliest footballer ever......methinks he completely missed the point about why Adam should be jealous.

Looking forward to 28/11/2012 when we hammer those bindipping fucktards into the ground. In the case of Adam - hopefully literally.
