Yid-Summers - I gave you a spam because I quite clearly said in my last post that I wouldn't comment anymore on the on-topic conversation - so your pleading for me to stop was completely pointless spam..

Right, I'm out of here - maybe when I come back something will be done about the cyber-bullies.

After a paragraph of that, whatever it is you call it. Quite frankly, bored me to the point of wanting to stick a knife in my head!

And stop with the "cyber bully" pity party crap. If you haven't got a set of bollocks, I'd suggest maybe buying some rubber ones, so it feels like you've got some.

Cyber-bullies? You're the only one attempting to do any sort of bullying here.

How has our youth set-up helped us? How many players have come into our team from our youth set-up in recent years?

One way the youth setup has helped the club is by making it a pile of money. By churning out well-trained and capable footballers such as Jake Livermore and many others, our well-run academy and popst-academy youth system has, since Frank Arnesen started its revival in 2004, turned from an obligation into an asset.

As for your second question, it depends on how you define 'youth set-up', i.e., whether a player acquired at 16 from another club counts, but some examples on that inclusive basis include (in no particular order): Caulker, Livermore, Townsend, Kane, Mason, O'Hara, Walker, Naughton, Lennon, Rose, Obika, Bentaleb and Veljkovic. That's not a bad tally and I'm sure I've missed a few more.

Heaven forbid they actually consider the arguments being made instead of whinging because a post is quite long.
Personally, SP, I don't care how long your posts are. If you've got the time (and feel the need) to write them, then good on you. I would, however, be grateful if you would accept the point you previously made about the thread being derailed, and take the discussion to PMs or somewhere more appropriate.

So basically, SP, you are sat on the fence with how other teams are going to perform this year ;-)

And on the 5th day he did create West Ham Utd, and he saw that it was all good and he saith " they shall have dominion over all things Tottenham".

Reid desperately clears! West Ham on the counter attack now!!! Kouyate, ball played to nolan who in return feeds a through ball to Downing, He's away! Nobody can catch him!!! Can he find... ... ... ... COLE!!! he's hit the post!!!!!!!! The rebound falls back to COLEEEEE!!! It's game set and match, the fans go delirious

In 185 hours from now, the 'West Ham 4 - Spurs 0' Conga will be starting on the STBL stand.

My first look at Kouyate on Saturday, he was immense - ran the show in the first half.

He will destroy the Spurs midfield

In a mere 5 days time we are going to give Tottenham Lukewarmspurs a thrashing so severe that they will wish they had consumed a loose stool inducing Lasagne (with chips and salad) to serve as some sort of excuse for their limp and anaemic display. No amount of toilet paper (double ply or otherwise) will be able to wipe the skid marked stain of this thrashing from their sorry memories.

95 hours to go! Who's cooking the lasagne?

I just can't comprehend their ridiculous confidence. Our team is so much more talented than theirs and now we actually have a good manager in charge.

Also, how tragic is it that they're counting down the hours? Fucking obsessed with us. I literally couldn't care less about West Ham other than the 2/3 times a year we play them. They're an irrelevance, like Fulham.

Good luck to them. I wish most our fans were that excited for the new season instead of whinging all the time.

To be fair to them, West Ham remind me of us before the CL run. Lots of gallows humour, sarcasm, crazy talk and a pumping atmosphere at home games.

Sometimes I kind of wish we were truely shit again so we could get excited about football again rather than being suicidal about finishing 6th, which is a darn good showing in a very competitive league by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm hoping Pochettino brings back the joy of being a football fan and if he does then he'll have done his job wherever we finish.

As for the game, yes we have a superior squad but you'd forgive them for being confident give last season's performance or lack of it against them. Its all for us to prove we're good enough to beat them, not for them to be worried about us! Afterall as they love telling us they did us 3 times last season.
