Paul Lambert on SSN's was not impressed; miserable git

You can see why his teams are boring

Paul Lambert commenting on exceptional and breathtaking individual skill in the attacking third. What next? Alex Ferguson giving advice on how to cope with defeat with grace and good humour?

Oh shit, I hate teams that are even more pessimistic than us. It always seems that they scrape something when that happens.

Wait, does that mean i'm now more pessimistic than them again?

But by that logic I am now optimistic again..

I've confused myself.
Lets get pessimistic quuuuuiiuckkkk!!!,!,!

People who don't appreciate how amazing that goal was to pull off clearly don't play football.

If it was Wilshire or Barkley, the media would be declaring that goal of the season. Instead I've seen several pieces slamming it

You can bet that there will be some Health and Safety warnings about this and TV pictures of whingeing parents by a child's hospital bed where he lays mangled and twisted.

Daily Mail will be all over it. Dirty argies coming over and wrecking our kids legs.

Quite enjoyed this one:

Wonderful goal.

I remember trying a rabona before, it made David Dunn's attempt look elegant.

The negative reactions to his goal absolutely mystifies me. In a sport that is supposed to be about entertainments, about "The beautiful Game", to slam this is incredible.

The game is all about those moments that have you jumping out of your seat in astonishment. All those 'WTF!' moments that stand out for their sheer audacity.

Nowadays, it seems that there are those that would rather concentrate on 'what if' speculation, how costly it could have been "IF" he had got it wrong.

I swear these same people take a perverse pleasure in letting kids know, as young as possible, that Santa doesn't exist.

It was a sublime piece of skill that enlivened the tie and gave the crowd a huge buzz.

I have a feeling that the crowd will be calling for more of the same against the barcodes. It's the reaction of the crowd that puts the lie to their negativity. It's moments like that that make the spectacle that much more enjoyable for us. Not to mention the fact that playing with that kind of skill and inventiveness is the fast way to endear yourself to any Spurs fan.

At least it used to be.

The worst thing is that I don't even care. Not angry, not pissed off, just bored of football.

If only life was like a game of Football Manager - we could just quit and reload from the start of the season.

From poster walshys_mullet
What a shambles. I'm beginning to think Rogers had nothing to do with last season whatever.

Complete shambles in Transfers, tactics and management. Awful.

From poster Sweeney94
Balotelli isn't a scapegoat, he's just shit. As for the team on the whole - depressingly bad. Deserved a draw.
From poster stevenalonsa
Disgusted...could have taken all these sloppy results had we won the league last time..its like one step forward and three back..
And balotelli, he is useless for a striker..takes shots unnecessarily and why on hell he didnt shoot when he was like 3 yards from goal is beyond me..he is an useless moron and i couldnt believe i had supported this lazy nutcase to join us...

From poster Djimi Smicer
Borini would have buried at least one of the chances Balotelli wasted. We're cutting our nose off to spite our face, its not working and he should be dropped. Enough is enough, I like the guy but its time for a change.

From poster smicer07
Thought balotelli was excellent, our finishing poor and the referee needs fucking shooting.

From poster itsgunnabebarnes
How lovren is allowed to act like a playmaker is beyond me. We are a mess and Rodgers is creating his own problems
We are clueless and boring

From poster AB LFC
Balotelli is looking a worse buy than Carroll to be honest. Very poor overall, Rodgers has some massive task ahead of him, not sure if he's upto it

From poster Dave D
Ah yes, we couldn't break down the fantastic Hull defense (which is actually worse than ours) the tactical genius that is fat head.

Let me guess the players response this time. 'We weren't good enough', 'we have to do better', 'Hull wanted it more than us', 'Where's my pay check'.

From poster El Lobo
I honestly hope those cowardly shithouses get relegated. Really nasty on the last day and all.

Oh and Mario, that's your lot. The single most cowardly footballer you'll ever have the misfortune of seeing. Here have three fucking sitters, in the fucking six yard box, and don't trouble the keeper once.

Though they did have a post of common sense...

From poster killer_heels
Seems like all you lot can just support a winning team. Not winning, well you don't care and cane the team and the management. Fucking hell, you bunch of knobheads.

To be fair, this could fit in to pretty much every thread on this board too.

Arsenal fans I know are very downbeat about their team right now

Liverpool fans are remarkably quiet compared to this time last year

West Ham fans are back on that we won the world cup hype...... They'll be talking titles and Champions League wins once they get in the Olympic stadium if they win another game
