Oh, come on. How can anyone begrudge Leicester's success. They are for once what's right about football, not these sugar daddy clubs like Man city and Chelsea.

We're in direct competition with them for the most important trophy in domestic football, I'll begrudge the fuck out of them.

I'm very worried about what happens when we go back to EL at the end of the month. If we are still within touching distance of the title id rather bin off the EL. Not to belittle it as it would be great to go far but it's another 8/10 games before the final. I'd be happy playing just the FA Cup and league.
Absoloutly agree. There can be no doubt in the past we've lost points because of it. It's fatigue, travelling, possibility of injuries and no time to plan for the Prem game, spend time on the training pitch with plans ect which Leicester will be doing. Yes it can be done but surely no doubt it's tougher

I must have been watching a different team when they played us then? Because all I witnessed was their keeper tapping the post from about 7 mins into the game every single time, them falling over at every single opportunity, parking the bus and then hoofing it up top trying to get us on the break.

Same time wasting tactics, same "let's draw a foul at every opportunity" tactics and the same "Let's lump it to racist Vardy" tactics.

They are shit, I have no idea why people are obsessed with seeing them win it, especially when they are our main rivals for it, them being the underdog makes literally no difference to my opinion of them.

They play negative football and teams have not taken them serious this season that is why they are where they are.

And frankly, just being completely honest here, irrespective of if they play "Attractive" or "Negative" football I still wouldn't be blowing smoke up the arse of a club supported by buffoons who now seem to think they are "World class" and have done nothing but insult teams around them.

Why would I sit here and say "You know what? I hope Leicester do it" when I am a spurs supporter and we are 5 points behind them?

Is it because they are the underdogs? Who have come up against all odds and beat the big money teams? Why should that make any difference?

In an alternate universe and if Arsenal were Leicester with the same amount of money, same amount of funding, same ground and same supporters would you be saying "I hope Arsenal win it if we can't because I love to see the underdog win it" I don't think anybody here would.

The Leicester love in is out of control honestly, don't think for one second their supporters would be saying the same about our club.

I cannot respect a football club that plays anti-football, which makes English football look bad, who has a racist as a figure head and who's supporters think they are the best in the world now because of one season.

If other people choose to do so then so be it but my focus is spurs and for OUR sake I hope they fuck it up and it ends in disaster, nothing about Leicester winning the league would be good for English football it would just prove how utterly atrocious this league is in terms of quality and only prove further how far we are behind European teams in terms of quality.

Anti football lol this post is fucking ridiculous. What the fuck is anti football, you do realise that football comes in many forms don't you?

Sounds to me the only time you've seen them play is against us, if you had watched them in more matches you would be saying that, just complete and utter ignorance.

I don't really care where they finish (as long as we finish 1st) but respect is due, they are up there for a reason and that's because they have been the best team in the league, there's nothing else to it.

Also you couldn't be more wrong about the quality of this league by the way, it's the strongest it's ever been.

Not that I consider Spurs title contenders, but come on Watford and QSF, go on

Proper Herberts this lot, would actually love them to fuck it up now.

I'll be really gutted if Leicester win it and not to sound arrogant - but if they do win it then it was our fucking year...

Let's at least see we can even finish in front of Man city and Arsenal before we can begrudge Leicester City. I am still more wary of those two than Leicester City.

I don't want to sound like buzz killington but they do have extremely wealthy owners. It's not like they're Hinckley FC and sponsored by a local pie shop.

With 13 games to go we are in a race for the title. Don't matter who else is in that race. We keep winning, we'll win the title and I won't care who finishes second. If we finish second or worse now, I'm gutted no matter who wins it.

I don't really care if Oil Money 'win' it. Personally I don't register any of their trophies as wins...just meaningless purchases.

When a club spends as much money as they have, not winning every single trophy they are in the running for is embarrassing and nothing else.

It annoys me when Chelsea and city buy their trophies. But as you say, when they win it's meaningless and when they lose its abject failure. Wheras if we won the league we would have fucking earned it, and it would be a special achievement.

Same with Leicester, so if we don't win it, good luck to them.

For once a small, tiny team is within sight of winning the fucking league and people would rather City won. They'd rather those oil-lubed fuckfaces won.

I always said it's OK if Man City win because they've won by default and it's second place that matters. But when there's a chance for the little guy to win I'll back them all the way. *Of course* I'd much rather we win the league than they do but I'll still be incredibly happy if they won.

Fuck the moneybags. This is what football is about.

But as Tottenham fans we should be used to these freak occurrences. If it's not Chelsea winning the CL to knock us from 4th spot qualification, it's Leicester winning the league and us coming second or the whole team getting food poison on the last game of the season. It would be typical of us imo.

Really couldn't give a toss about what style of football we played if we won the league. Just speaking for myself
Ooh I see another opportunity to have a pop at AVB lol.
If it wasnt for him I would probably agree with you but no, I could watch that win or lose.

They are owned by a billionaire, same as us and City.

Leicester played very well today. We would all be very happy if we put in an identical performance next week. They really could and should have won by more

Your post insinuates that I'm not. Despite mine making very clear in the middle of post that I'd obviously rather we won.

But I don't hold it against you. SC is where you let your hairdown after a hard day's work in Academia.

In all honesty I skim-read your post, replied, then noticed your caveat.

I just decided to wait for your reply instead of editing it!

And yes it has been a hard day's work in academia. There's only so many essays you can read on the commodity fetishism of iPhones before you want to throw yourself under a train.
