There is absolutely no chance they repeat that performance against us. They can play some good stuff and I have no doubt it will be much tougher for us. Can't imagine West Ham will approach us as they did Sunderland.

I'm sure they will be 'up for it' but, honestly mate, they have 1 footballer in that team in Payet. The rest of them are just horribly average on the ball.

Whenever they were put under pressure they surrendered possession. And we'll press the hell out of them.

Also, I still cannot quite believe that James Collins is a Premier League footballer.

Anyway I know you're being cautious, as I tend to be normally. However I'm starting not to worry as much about our bottle these days and if we bring it to the Boelyn we'll beat this lot IMO.

West Ham seem very confident on KUMB. I'm glad there isn't a long build up to this one. Brady and co waffling on about the "huge" rivalry, how they see us as a club to leapfrog blah, blah, blah

They are flying, relatively speaking and are having their best ever season so it will be tough, but we are the better side so nothing to fear. Point will be fine, win will be a bonus. After that, it's onto another 'cup final' ( we have 11 left...not counting Europe of course! )
I've been banging on about it for a while but as Poch says football is a game played with emotion, and Spam are going to be so up for this last match with us at the Boleyn. We're a better team, fitter, more organised, more goal threat, but we're going to have to fight tooth and nail for this.
The crowd will be up for it, and will lift their players, no doubt.

Don't get me wrong, I want to beat West Ham as I live in EL and my cousins are insufferable hammers but this really means a lot to them

From KUMB:

I haven't wanted to win a game this bad since the Play-Off Final.

I don't know how I feel, us being compared to the Play-off Final, guess it's a compliment as that was a big day for them

It's going to be epic. Means so much to both teams...this really can be described however you like. It really could be described as a cup final...for both sides and fans.

Their Cup final because this is their biggest game, if we call this a Cup final it's because it's one of 11 for us at the moment

Got tickets for this one, hoping for an absolute classic ( and a chance to put a dent in their title 'challenge')

Because being 2 points off top at this stage isn't a challenge?

Plus we are only have 2 days rest in between the games, where as West Ham have 3. That could be significant.

Bruce Wayne

You have to wonder what Wenger is thinking when he looks angry after the final whistle, especially when it's 99% on him. When the same pattern continues for half a decade, you just can't keep pointing fingers at the players.

Every season it's a new scapegoat; it's "we need a new X" and "we need to replace Y". The only constant is Wenger.
As someone who has had the misfortune of watching him manage for 20 years I'll tell you. He is a massive hypocrite. He doesn't believe he's responsible. He always blames someone else. He wants all the plaudits for "winning" his way but none of the blame for losing. He's a fraud and an affront to the supporters. I hate him. I really do. You as a neutral can see that. Those of us who are realists can see that. Sadly a large segment of supporters have Stockholm Syndrome and don't get it. He's been stealing a living for a decade. It's disgusting.

I think the Souness is bang on. They've turned into legends. There is no one in that team who can can take a game and the team by the scuff of the neck and drag them to a win. If we turn up next Sunday we should batter them. I'm going to whizzing around Jerez on my motorbike but will be listening to as much of it as I can inbetween sessions.

you won't get many updates on the Sunday

I would hate you to miss it if your not on your bike @12:45 on the Saturday.

we really need to take an early lead in this, even 2 quick goals, cause their fans will turn on them and go pretty quiet very quickly if we do

Suicide notes are often a plea for help. And not simply from a craving for attention. If he has issues, I hope he gets the help he needs.
I agree but I really can't see Stan Kroenke closing down that rancid club so I fear his issues will continue indefinitely:)
