Didn't we go one up against Villa? It ended up being a draw?!

fingerscrossed.gif
We can hope!

Anyways, as i've said before, we all hoped Villa could help us out, but the main thing is focus on ourselves, we do our bit we don't need to worry about what others do!

Anyone hear the commentary when they scored. 'A goal for the would be champions, Harry Kane!'

The would be champions? **** off.

Villa have the players to make a real game of this.

Oh.

No they haven't

MattYesterday, 05:24 PM
Villa obviously want Tottenham to win the league so havn't tried as hard against them as they did against us.

Well that's Tottenham's logic apparently, so i'll follow their lead.

foxes_rule1978Yesterday, 06:07 PM
Spurs win their first game in three against a very poor villa side and the media think that makes them the most likely to win the title... they have much tougher games to come , and recently they haven't done the business in those matches.

More reasons to hate these utter prats

In a year when we should all be celebrating the fact that some different teams have broken the top 4, Leicester fans do their up most to come across as bellends. If we don't win it I really don't think I want them to, they are a bunch of self righteous pricks aren't they??

No grace amongst their fans at all. I remember seeing one comment from one of their fans about Bournemouth losing saying "yeah that's right Bournemouth, know your place". I mean what the fuck?

After reading their fans comments it makes me think I'll feel even more sick if we slip up in this run in. It would be different if it was say, Man City who we were chasing.

You're taking a sample of about 10 people and assuming that all of their fans (yep they have more than 10) believe and act this way!

Should Man United fans act and think that we (spurs fans) are all like glastoSpur (or whatever his stupid name is?!)

We need to stop generalising

That really bothers me. Why the arrogance and dismissive snobbery from Leicester fans? I know it's not all of them, obviously, but there've been a number of quotes of late that are unpleasant. You'd imagine that they'd be proud, surprised and delighted to be leading the way, not entitled and graceless.

I have nothing against Leicester City, the club. They deserve to be where they are. But their fans and their hubris is deeply irritating. I had no idea they'd won everything already.

Fans on a forum on the internet, yes. I'd wager that most people on football related forums comes across as pricks. Not this site though, we're all reasonable and humble people here.

I'm sorry, but videos like the one above just make me dispare at most premier league supporters these days. We're just spoilt kids moaning about not getting the toys we want.

Now Arsenal are probably the worst for this, and I do enjoy a good Arsenal shirt burning. But they've just been kicked out of a competition they've one twice in a row. Bloody twice. There are a hundred clubs out there that'd give anything to get to Wembley just the once. It's so pathetic it really is. The distortion around the top half of the premier league table is just getting more and more stupid. (End Rant)

I'm well aware of a number of less than gracious fans on here, yes. But, I can't say I've ever read any disparaging remarks about teams closer to the bottom of the table. Aston Villa yesterday, for example. I'm probably wrong, but I haven't seen any.

You're probably right, though - it's fans' forum mentality.

You've got to remember it's the internet - it's a place for the deranged. Go to any YouTube comments page, or any open football fan forum and it's like the end of days.

We're lucky in that this site is on the whole a well moderated and pleasant place, but most sites just aren't.

You're absolutely right. This site (aside from match days when we've gone a goal down) is a pretty pleasant place to be. I think what irked me with the Leicester comments is the absurd superiority they've (some of them) adopted. That kind of arrogance and lack of grace, class, humility or whatever you want to call it really sticks in my craw. There's no need for it.

Apologies, Setzthree, if my initial reply seemed a bit stroppy. I only realised it read that way after I sent it. Completely unintentional. ;)

It is true that you can't really generalise a fan base from a few comments from one website. To be honest I don't like Leicester for the fact that they're competing with us and I don't really mean to knock it because football would be more boring if every team tried to play the same, but I personally don't really like how they play either. I guess part of me just wants reasons to not like them even more.

Indeed. Let's hope it comes back to bite them on the arse! ;)(y)

Why is it that Arsenal have more of these entitled fans than other clubs though. It's truly odd
