http://www.redcafe.net/threads/fergie-throws-sausage-in-disgust-at-augusta.416339/

SIR ALEX FERGUSON was so angry at Augusta when he saw Manchester United had crashed 3-0 at Tottenham that he threw his sausage sandwich down in disgust.

The former United boss was tucking into his bangers during a break while watching the final round of The Masters golf at the famous course in Georgia.

The Scot checked on his mobile phone in the VIP section to see the result of his old Red Devils’ match at Spurs.

A furious Fergie flung his half-eaten sandwich down on his plate when he discovered they had lost to three late goals.

An onlooker said: “He was looking on his phone when he suddenly threw his sausage down on to his plate in anger. He’d obviously seen the United result.”

Sausagegate!

It must be hurtful for him to see everything he built being destroyed

Or he could have been mad the Speith choking cost him 8000 quid...

Sun journalists daily schedule: 1% news reporting, 99% thinking up puns for headlines.

This man is right on it! Blame the journo
Poor journalism. What type of sausage was it?

http://www.redcafe.net/threads/post-match-vs-tottenham-hotspur.416287/

Okay so he says below
Done well to only concede 3

It's that darn journo again ruining things!
Will one single journalist ask him to explain those second half tactics? Will they feck.

I used to do this but with FIFA; I'd replay the match and Spurs would win. Hollow victory but eased my anger
Time to watch the UFC and pretend that any fighter who gets knocked out is Van Gaal or Woodward.

Wow! Never thought I'd hear that cry!
We shouldn't have sacked Moyes.

And now for everything I dislike about English football. If we can't win then we'll just fucking injure them instead! Football ability, don't care; must break legs on demand!
Can we please go out and sign an angry, dirty, filthy, snidey, driven **** this summer? I dont care about his footballing ability. Sick of seeing 11 timid fairies step out onto the pitch.

Actually rooting for your team to lose... o_O
That's probably curtains for top 4 then.

The silver lining to that is that now I won't have to feel guilty about rooting for Leicester to throttle us in a few weeks

Maybe, just maybe our opponents don't get many chances on goal cos we don't allow them? Ya think?!
Spurs weren't even that good today until the last 20 minutes. They looked like a side feeling the pressure of playing for a first title for 50+ years. But when your opponents (routinely) manage one chance in 90 minutes, it makes it a lot easier knowing you are virtually guaranteed a point even if your forwards misfire.

I see this as an attempt to stay injury free before the transfer window
Sneiderlin backing out of challenges all over the field. Needs to go first closely followed by LVG

Well Woody did act in a load of movies and his best pal is BuzzingOn09/10Year
Woody, he is more inept than LVG. As long as he is in charge we are going nowhere

This is in response to a pretty twatty GlastonSpur post. But the point is the poster thinks we'll fail in the CL and the league cos "we'll be in Europe"... um... we were in Europe this season too... the harder europe when taking into account the league performances
How ironic that the one solitary season every one of the "top 4" gifts you a chance to walk the league … fecking Leicester win it!:lol::lol:

IF you don't sell (and there will be tasty offers) you'll both have one year of CL football, fail miserably, and then reset … back to normal!

Bloody hell even Carragher and Sourness are making sense … LvG's happy we gave Tottenham a game and came out losing 3:0 … THAT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE

Yip, time's a changing hoss
'It's Tottenham, lads'

How times changed...

If a picture paints 1000 words, then most of these are , "LVG Out"

Lamela is a fucking superstar, and the rest?! you ... you... wankpuffin!
I don't know if I can be objective about this, but are they really as good as we made them look? I mean, we made Lamela look like a superstar. Lamela. Players just seem to have good matches against us. After starting well our team was pretty disorganized, we didn't try to score, Matt Damon threw the match for the Italian mafia, and our manager is a clowndick.

Give me a better manager and a sensible lineup playing in position and we beat them.

Someone can laugh in the face of despair! He could be a Spurs fan!
Can't even beat traffic

Yip... coaching, it's what young players need
@@GlastonSpur Fully agree re Lamela. He has improved so much since first arriving and Poch has instilled a great work ethic into him; one he certainly didn't have when he first joined.

But your mate said earlier you were lucky to just concede 3?! Your memory fading so quickly in the reflected light of all those past trophies? You being blinded by past brightness like RAWKers?
The game was a lot closer than the scoreline appears but agreed on the last point, we simply don't have the players in attack to win games, which was also obvious pre season.

Yes that and the rest of the pressure...
I'm pretty sure it was 0-0, until fairly late on, as opposed to us being roasted by a ferocious performance!
It was a mad 5 mins that cost us.

Sorry, maybe it's just me but I just don't have any time for things like that related to such a serious thing. I spend my Saturday mornings working as a volunteer in a Hospice for terminally ill cancer patients and I just feel that is in bad taste. Maybe I'm being over sensitive, but I reckon if you did a shift along with me you'd likely understand why I find it a bit offensive. Anyway. this isn't the time or place for this conversation, so sorry about the neg rep but that how I feel about it unfortunately.
I reckon if you did a shift anywhere someone will tell you your joke is offensive by some standard.

What I mean to say is, there's always someone who will find something offensive.

It's just interesting that a cancer joke gets a thorough dislike, but everyone can get their lol's on with AIDS and learning disabilities on essentially the same page of a thread.

Personally find it all lol worthy myself. :ROFLMAO:

I know tons of medical professionals, paramedics, a guy who works in a morgue and a load of volunteers who provide activities for terminally ill children, and if there's one thing they have in common it's a seriously warped sense of humour. Derek & Clive is a favorite of a cancer care specialist i know, one of the chemists goes to America on holiday just to see Doug Stanhope & Sarah Silverman shows. It seems the very British thing to do is to take the sad element to it's extreme and then step back and laugh at it. The more offended they should be, the funnier they find it. And i can relate to that.

I've got no problem with any of it, fair game. If something offends me or makes me feel uncomfortable, unless you've got me tied to a chair with my eyelids pinned open, that's your perogative. Crack on, i'll go do something else (y)

Have to say I actually quite enjoy reading Red Cafe. Some good posters on there - good knowledge and witty, pretty balanced and despite all the past success most of the fans seem able to see their current "plight" in relatively balanced terms whilst appreciating that teams like ourselves have made huge leaps. Even the Kane and Poch to Utd threads have dried up as they realise unless its all about the cash or either are closet boyhood Utd fans there is very little to tempt someone away from us right now

You even get regular Utd fans / posters defending GlastonSpurs vs. other Utd fans despite his smug, irritating posts!

Fair enough, it was only a neg rep and I'm not one to usually pass remark if I don't like something I'll usually ignore it. If i thought it was going to start any sort of debate I wouldn't have bothered.

The stunning/annoying thing is how quickly the transition between the two transpired. They made it into the holiday stretch at the top, and suddenly they were calling everyone nasty words and spouting about how much they "hated" various other fan groups. I genuinely once supported this renaissance of theirs for the sake of footballing romanticism, but having read so many of their fan comments directed towards Spurs fans on various forums, I've lost any and all sympathy in their direction.

Ditto

"You often find in games that the 'away' side start very well and dominate the first 15/25 minutes but achieve nothing. What did we create during our so called period of dominance? Zero_Once the Spud realised we weren't up to a whole lot there was only going to be one winner.Hopefully it will be another 15 years before we lose there again....."

"Exactly. Conversely, when Spurs dominated, they easily could have scored 5 or 6 goals.
Whereas, we easily could have had 3 or 4 throw ins."

Re: Leicester City

I obviously want us to win on Saturday, but it'd certainly soften the blow.

Fair play to Leicester; they seem to be keeping reasonably calm and not letting it impact them too much. Their defence has been particularly impressive.

When you think back to how the pressure has affected Liverpool the last couple of times that they've been in with a shout ('the facts' year and 'the slip' year), it's even more impressive.

The Jamie Vardy story is fantastic too.

Of course West Ham love 'the Jamie Vardy story'. Got to keep solidarity with their fellow racists.
