Loving all the Leicester fans hate the ref stuff, don't they remember their game at our place? By the end we were just laughing about the ref who was so incompetent he became a joke, at one point okazaki launched himself knee first into the back of a Harry Kane rolling right over the top of Kane and he got the free kick!
Suck it up you bottling foxes.

I remember what the **** was like when he played. Dirty, cheating, violent and a bully. And one of the biggest legends in an England shirt I've ever seen. No amount of cheeky chappy persona on TV is ever going to change my mind about Ian Wright.
You still like him then?

Little bit late on this one, but an Arsenal Mania member before this weekend:

Our next 4 games are guaranteed wins, the legends are going to emerge from their slumber and hammer teams like Crystal Palace, WBA, Sunderland and Norwich, now that they have nothing to play for.

Solid start to that prediction.

Why? The man's won sod-all in his career, a couple of Serie B titles, Ligue 2 title and a few cups at Valencia. All the while he's managed, Juve, Roma, Inter, Monaco, Chelski, Atletico Madrid etc etc, he's a journeyman manager with a team of journeymen.

Because under is tutorage this Journey team just Don't Stop Believin'.

It's a bit like the England cricket team in the 90s though - there was no consistency in selection and very good players were reduced to nervous wrecks because they so wanted to impress. England under Taylor was the same, and some good players were totally wasted. To be fair as well it was a very good time for strikers - Shearer, Fowler, Sheringham, Ferdinand, Wright, Cole, Couldnt play them all.

You still require that arrogant mentality. Michael Owen for example. Anderton was another who was sensational on his debut, despite getting an absolute rollicking from Shearer at one point early in the game.

Fowler & Wright never exhibited it at international level at all. They'd play safe and stiff, resulting in poor first touches, decisions etc. I take on board what you say but at the same time dealing with that kind of pressure is one of the things that separates those that can and those that can't.

I only hope the meltdown is happening in the dressing room as well as the internet forums. Annoyingly you'd have thought Ranyery would be good at managing this kind of thing.

To be honest we don't need the meltdown. What we want is for them to have to adapt their game slightly to compensate for his not being there. That should be enough for them to be as free flowing as before and for doubts to creep in.

It's Leicester for fucks sake! I'm sure we'd all be saying the same if Kane got banned. Football fans are very fickle.

Edit: I'm talking about the Dive @Sweech not the reaction. He has himself to blame for that and its quite amusing to think he might come back after a two game ban and find himself in second place. I can see why people can debate the dive as he was tugged before but in my opinion it was a clear dive initiating the contact.

Leicester then.

I wasnt replying to that, I was replying to the investigation.

From Arsenal-Mania, in the 'Let's still all laugh at Tottenham' thread

"Can we please change the thread title, we have no right laughing at them with the position they are in. :(
I hate myself for saying that, the bastards."

"Absolutely came here to say the exact same thing myself. There's rarely any class or humility among football fans nowadays and it becomes embarrassing at times. So I say we show some class and change the title to "Let's all reluctantly admire Tottenham" or something along those lines, because let's face it, a lot of what they are doing right now is to be admired and we could learn a lot from them. Youth, energy, progression, dynamism, adaptability, confidence; all things we lack sorely."

I don't know what all the fuss is about spurs being good. We've seen anytime they play a team with a pulse and with some desire they go missing.

Liverpool beat them and klopp had a big game coming up. Dortmund smashed 'em.

Today even a Newcastle or Sunderland would have hammered this Stoke team. Pulis play ugly football but his team's will usually make it hard. Stoke had a 50 year old in goal and brought on Charlie Adam who looked like he had just been eating all the pies at the food stall outside the brittania.

Problem pulis wba will have is they arsenal on Thursday and then spurs on Monday, while spurs play next Monday so will be fresher.

4-0 vs this Stoke is not that impressive. Spurs are a good team but people making out as if they are unbeatable are either people at sky who want the title race to go to the wire or those blindly following the sky punditry.

Bluemoon after the 4th goal

Beautiful goal. Very easy thiugh. Eriksen rand half the field without a challenge

What a fucking team. The real deal. Stoke are shit, mind. But this is ruthless

0-4. Talk about meaning business. But as for Sjoke ... omfg.

Another top top goal, great play from Spurs, good volley from Alli, he doesn't do easy goals. Leicester must be nervous now.

Taking the piss

Spurs will win the league, can see Leicester dropping points with vardy not there.. But doubt spurs will mess up now

Gonna be very interesting to see if the wheels finally fall of Leicester. They are under quite severe pressure now.

In a real quandary here. Hated Spurs since they broke an 18 year old's heart back in '81, but they're playing some cracking stuff this season. And the manager seems (with thanks to Tim nice but dim) a bloody good bloke, actually. What to do?

Spurs fans will be insufferable if they win it.

Really hope that Tottenham wins the league this season. Play much better football than Leicester and have many more sympatic players.

Spurs 1986, the best footballing team to never win anything. That was 30 years ago, I remember it still.
Joddle, Waddle, Ardiles, C Allen up top... Mabbuts thigh in the FA cup final v Coventry though, so sad that team didnt win anything!

Re: Alli

I can't bare to see him play.

It really should be a sackable offence whoever messed this deal up.

What's he worth now? I'd doubt they'd sell for £80m

Given that 'whoever messed this deal up' was Alli turning Liverpool down, you can't really sack the person responsible. Because, y'know, you don't own him. Over entitled wankstains.
