None, remember you are supporting a business.

Thats why you can't take this shit too personal.

Was it fan power that led to Nuno going? Do we actually have more power than we dared to believe? ?

Any money it’s the booing and not the threat of boycott.. ENIC are obsessed with marketing, especially in the far east and US .. the sound of booing and fans chanting Nuno out, Levy out and. ‘you’re just a jumped up dildo’ would really have done it

It's just depressing that Levy/ENIC only get jolted into being ambitious with managers or player trading when they get a whiff of pitchforks and torches

ENIC have been with us 21 years. We know how this works. If they do manage to appoint a better manager, they will support him for 1 or 2 transfer windows, and if he gets us more comfortably in 4th-6th, at that point they will again stop investing in the squad.

Sadly we are in a circle where supporters have the power to activate the Levy knee jerk

If by some miracle we did appoint Conte I’m sure Levy would see it as a huge victory that he managed to save 3 months’ worth of his wages by not getting him in before the season started.

The Manure game was just something else. Lets not forget that was shown around the world. It wasnt just booing but how we played. Our global brand would have taken a hit if nothing drastic was done about it.

I didnt realise booing would have the effect it did but evidently it had a massive impact but it was the timing of it all that I think was the crucial factor.

The booing at the United game was not the reason he went, and things were already in motion prior to that. Why do you think the Conte deal went from approach to conclusion as fast as it did. Lot's of the details were already in place. I agree with your point about the brand taking a hit though. Attracting sponsorship and naming rights for the stadium is not going to be easy when there's so much negativity from every single media source.

I appreciate what you're saying Trix, but I wonder what would have happened if we'd thrashed United 4-0 and played them off the park. You think Nuno would still have been given the old 'tin tack' and if he had, I wonder what the general reaction would have been.
