could someone share the Michael Caley article on the Athletic?
Do you mean Michael Cox?

I would share but the article is littered with, and reliant on, dozens of photo's with arrows on (to show tactical info) and the photos are copyright which means if I share A&C will shove a rusty ban stick up my jacksie.

That's the one, not sure where I got Caley from.

Matt law has lost the plot getting triggered by Simon Jordan and digging out months old tweets. Wonder how the telegraph would react if they got inundated with complaints about his agenda ?

Danny Murphy last night; utterly awful commentator.

"Conte needs to change it. Switch to a back 4 and get more men in attack."

Switches to back 4.

"Spurs have been dreadful since switching to a back 4, they're they're over the shop, what is Conte doing?"

Commentator: Scarlett received high praise from Conte yesterday.

Murphy: should have put him on earlier in that case.

FWIW, both Tim Howard and Robbie Mustoe were tapping Spurs for fourth after the match today. And Robbie was venturing into “with a good summer window, they can contend” next year. NBC commentators love Conte.

I heard that but in goal zone they still felt Arsenal were favorite.

Arsenal are faves though... two agmes in hand - essentially it is totally out of our hands, even if we beat Arsenal - I hate that we arent in control. So annoying and frustrating

Pundits are fickle sods ain't they, they change their "expert" opinions like the wind.
The level of punditry is simply very low. Jenas started off writing decent pieces for Yahoo. It didn’t take him long to become a typical pundit.

I don’t pay any real attention to them. I don’t think their bosses are looking for quality analysis.

The bookies have Arsenal as favourites, and I agree
Incidentally, read an article today that says since Conte took over we're 4th on ppg, ahead of Chelsea, behind Arsenal

Paul the coke Merson on his sky channel: “you take Kane out of the team, top four ain't happening for Spurs. It's as simple as that. When he doesn't turn up at Burnley away, they get beaten. Tottenham are a one-man team and that's not being disrespectful.

You could have a Ferrari, but without an engine in the car it ain't working. He's the all-round package, and that's why he's the best centre-forward in the world, and I've said it for a long, long time.”
What an arse

I mean… where to start on this?
I suppose it’s a fair point to make apart from the fact that we reached the champions league final without him.

would he have made this point if Arsenal had beaten palace? I doubt it.
he’d have been all nicey nicey and said “he’s good- not world class but good”

@CoopsieDeadpool whats the word im looking for here?
