When we opened the new stadium against Palace, he was working for NBC and doing a walk round the pitch just before the game, I was about 3 rows back and when he was directly in front of me someone a few rows behind shouted 'Dixon you wanker!' really loudly at him, he looked up at the bloke, smiled, blew him a big kiss and laughed. He got a big cheer, it was all in good spirit.

I hated Keown more than any other of the Arsenal defence back in the day and I still feel the same now. And that’s saying something when their other defenders were either driving their cars into walls while being 4 times over the limit or pretending to be a hard man until Di Canio actually walks in your direction and you shit your pants. Or carrying their own player on their shoulders after a cup final win and then dropping them, breaking their arm.

Barnes had his arms up to make himself wide. Nowt to do with correcting his balance after a tussle. Not even a tightrope walker trying to keep their balance would have their arms up that high.

It was a clear penalty and Burnley had an entire half to try and get a goal and weren’t able to. We had a penalty go against us at Man City when Romero slid and clearly didn’t mean to handle it but it was still a penalty. Difference is we didn’t crumble like arsenal did on Thursday, we showed resolve and got a winner.

It's been genuinely baffling me, when the opposition manager (sorry can't remember his name), people on Commentary, pundits in the MOTD/Sky studios etc, are ALL saying they believe it was harsh, but the law is wrong etc etc.

You watch all of our lads and they defend with their arms by their sides or behinds their backs in those situations.

I don't think he was consciously attempting to widen his body or whatever, it seemed to me like a natural motion to keep balance or something. Still a penalty though, by today's stupid rules.
