Not sure how this is possible but while I well remember the "oh no" moment, I didn't quiet recall it like above. Checked on youtube and we have a 2nd commentator that does the "oh no" for the same goal... How is that possible?:cautious:

Default position for commentators vs Spurs.

Because you have different commentators on Sky and terrestrial.

I enjoyed the subtle understatement by the BBC in this piece:
Can an English team win this year?

Liverpool have lost two of the past five finals to Real Madrid, including last season at the Stade de France.

Manchester City will hope the addition of Haaland, who averages a Champions League goal every 64 minutes, will get them over the line this season.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are hoping for a fourth final in six years, while Chelsea are bidding to become only the third English team (after Liverpool and Manchester United) to win three European Cups.

Tottenham - finalists in 2019 - are also in the tournament.

Except it now reads:

"Tottenham, finalists in 2019, were guided back into the Champions League last season by Antonio Conte and will hope that the Italian - winner of one Premier League and four Serie A titles as a manager - can lead them to silverware."

That's better.

Editor must have read the initial piece by one of his lackeys and thought "you absolute pillock - obvious you're a Gooner. I'll have to fix this"

There's an excerpt from Rory Smith's new book on data in today's Times.

Talks about how we used data under Comoli to go for RAF VdV.
I've tried/failed to copy using 12ft ladder ☹️

Just came across this article on BBC from Callum Wilson and Micael Antonio on Richarlisons keepy uppies..... Wilson said he would have volleyed him and Antonio said he'd have hit him harder. Again pathetic the airtime this is getting and those comments are shocking, arguably encourage violence and warrant a hell of a lot more abuse than a footballer displaying a bit of fuckin skill. They wont be called out on it though... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/62740309

Quite liked Callum Wilson before he came out with this utter bollocks. Hope he falls to bits again now, preferably whilst trying to volley Richarlison.

I got to see it on motd Monday morning and couldn’t believe the fuss that was being made. I personally thought it was nothing yet the abuse from fellow pros has been totally ott. And as you say to actually get away with saying they would absolutely clatter him and injure is not on, but then when you see who’s those voice’s are it’s no surprise….

They're dumb to speak like that in the media. You've basically given a target on your back from the officials now.
