Good thing somebody started this topic. WHERE DO THEIR MONEY COME FROM? Anyone who knows? Can`t be for their achivements on the pitch the last 10 years...

We have something you don't - a large fan base, it comes with being a big club which is something you lot don't know about. It helps generate a lot of money.

Why can't Chelsea fans understand the fact that unlike them we have people who know how to run the financial side of a football club?

That was really interesting thanks for posting - it's rather like reading someone else's diary (not that I ever have of course) - you know that you're not going to read anything good about yourself but you can't help reading anyway. Actually there were one or two surprisingly positive / vaguely intelligent sounding people on there.

Spurs save money elsewhere. For example

A few years ago, I was the manager of an irrigation company, designing and installing systems in golf courses and sports stadia up and down the country. In pre season we installed a system at West Hams Chadwell Heath training ground. New storage tanks, pop up sprinkers across the whole area, additional sprinklers for heavily used areas, such as sprint and shuttle training locations and all progammable from the groundsman quarters. At the time the groundsman had just moved to WHU from Spurs and he was telling all his mates at Spurs about this installation.

Anyway I got a call from Mr Sugars son, took him over to Chadwell Heath and demonstrated what our system could do, surveyed the Spurs training area and a week or two later got an order from Spurs.......................for a f****** £300, lay flat hose with some holes in it.

True story.

Made me laugh anyway.

I really find out this to be a really racistic comment :think:

Again I don't know the ins and outs of were they get their money but I'm assuming there is a few people that have a involvement with the club. The are backed with some extremely rich business types from the Jewish community also I believe.

The truth is that Levy made us as a really financially stable club after ENIC took over, and which makes us to really financially competive club if you compare to Scum and Pool. Chelscum is far behind us as they are only running with money which owner loaned to fund all of those transfers. And Manure is always Manure, except after Glazer bought them with the loan money.

So Scum has loans to pay back (stadium etc.), Pool owners took the loans when they bought the club (and promised to build that new stadium) and then started to screw each other, Glazer took a really big loan to buy a Manure and had to take few new loans to pay other loans back. And Chelscum is running with Abra's money and what is difference between those first 3 and Leeds is that they are worldwide known teams and their fanbases are keeping them alive.

Chelscum is a different story, what about if Abra sell that team and that new owner get all those debts with the club and he have to sell all those players to fund his losses... Just like Spam, ManC, Portshmouth, maybe Geordies.... ( all future depends about their owners, though no other teams pay same kind of salaries like Newcastle) So looking at those, we are propably the only one (with Blackburn) who has maken their teams like a profitable business even those player boughts.

I have a ManUSA supporting friend (I know, I'm sorry) and he's jealous of ITK stuff that we pore over and is trying to find the best ManUSA equivalent forum. The ones he's found seem lame (no surprise based on their supporter base) but I thought I'd ask you guys. Any idea which is the closest to the illustrious SC for that lot?

Not too sure about that. My mate is Portuguese and he reckons Big Phil is fairly useless. He refuses to play Quaresma as he had an arguement with the Porto chairman. Even in Portugal they are questioning his worth.

Remember he's not managed a club since 2001.

my boss is a Chelsea fan. I'll ask him what he thinks about it all.
