Wasn't on the bench Sunday and after hearing some worryingly news on Verts we could do we him around over the next 3-4 weeks.

My own personal opinion is that he's crocked beyond repair. He's been out for the best part of 18 months now and hasn't really looked like getting back to full fitness in that time. A crying shame really has he had everything required to be an absolute colossus of a centre half.

Not going to write him off completely, but from what I have seen of him all season (and not just the City game) I don't think he is back at the level required currently and I cant see how and where we can give him a run of games to get himself back up to speed as we go into the second half of the season. And that's if he can stay fit...

Right now, Chiriches and Vertonghen are the two we hope aren't out for a long period of time. If we got a centre back in during the transfer window then I would be looking to loan Kaboul out so he can get games and prove his fitness.

He played the full 90 minutes against Man City and no sign of him since. At the start of the season I feared he was the next Ledley, but he has featured a few times so far.

Made of glass is the official medical verdict I believe.

We really should create a thread for injuries, specifically so we can post updates on long terms problems ie Kaboul etc..

Before the Sunderland game AVB said Kaboul had a "muscle strain". Didn't sound like a long term thing so I'd expect to see him at some point during the Christmas/New Year period.

There are two avenues I think that it could go down with him:

1) He's crocked entirely

2) He's been out for so long and is naturally so powerfully strong that he's having issues with his muscles being out of whack, and it'll balance itself out with more time.

Really really hope it's 2 obviously, but worried it's 1.

Physio Room also had Rose's return date as 15th December, which is Sunday!

...and that is exactly why we need more regular inormation from the club as when we don't have any, we make stuff up!

(not having a go at you. Just saying)

I'll get on the phone to Levy right away my good man.

He doesn't even appear on the injured list on physioroom. Whilst I accept it's not particularly accurate, it's more than we get from the club. Maybe he's back from injury!

I don't know how accurate or reliable Physio Room is, but not seeing him both on that list and on the pitch says to me that he could be struggling with fitness issues. I've a feeling he's probably got a permanent injury that will constantly leave him out for long spells. I've worried this about Dembele's hip too, that's something that could always stay with you throughout your playing career.

He's not in the training pics from today that I can see. Ade and Eriksen are though.

Oh, and Danny Rose too
