He really has been exceptional. His work rate and movement is literally like night and day compared to Crouch and Pav last season. The crazy thing is, he's snatching at his chances a bit but he still has 5 in 9.

Why would any manager worth his salt walk away from this squad and take control over shitty England? Madness.

I agree. If we get into the CL then surely he'll stay with us? If we don't then maybe he might think differently.

How can we sign Ade for good though? How is it possible unless he takes the pay cut? Mind you if he did he'd probably instantly became a footballing legend in everybodies eyes. Not just ours.

I think we were all slightly worried that Adebayor may not put in the effort but even when he wasn't scoring he was involved in alot of our goals and linking up with the midfielders brilliantly as well as generally working hard for the team. Last night he epitomised that and I hope we can keep him long term, although that seems very unlikely to me.

If Redknapp gets convicted, will England still want him? Perhaps not. I'm pretty sure Levy will though.

I see a bit of Rooney in him actually. Never even thought about comparing the two until Ade started playing for Spurs. He's all over the pitch, coming down deep, doing defensive work, creating chances both for himself and other players and he's just a massive presence on the pitch.

Always thought of him as a target man, lurking around the penalty box waiting for a ball, but I've really had to change my view on what type of player he is. I've always rated him as a goal scorer, but now he's just showing that he's got so much more to his game than kicking a ball past the keeper.

Here's a worrying thought: what happens if we continue our brilliant form, Adebayor playing a key role (as so far) and begin to challenge Man City? They might see us as a threat and not sell?

I dont think man city can afford to keep players tbh, if they kept him theyd have what, tevez and adebayor sitting there on £300+k a week. I really hope City win sod all, i think their owners will get bored quickly.

As for Harry and England, if we're sitting third come March/April who wants a et the FA will start planning for life after Fabio and a lot of media attention becomes focused on Harry?

The worry of us challenging for the Premier League title haunts my nightmares.

(We really need a Suicide-Icon for if something dreadful like this happens).
