Whats going on?

Its really starting to get to me how our strikers (and the team as a whole are struggling to score against some of the, lets be honest, shitter sides in the league. The reason we arent higher in the league is because we are wasting so many oppurtunites and then the heads go down and the final half an hour or so (and sometimes earlier) we create fuck all. when u look at the fixture we have had recently. Blackburn, boro, wigan, newcastle and we havent scored more than 1, despite numerous chances. Really frustrating

Its obvious Ramos hates Bent, hes only getting 15 mins and Keane has frankly been in shocking form.

Can't see how he could hate Bent though because when he has played Bent he has scored he went on a nice little run of goals (including the wrongly disallowed one).

Thing is Berbs is off and If he does want to sell bent play him and hope he scores a few goals get his value up.

No one is going to forget who Berbatov is plus hes pretty average at the moment i feel his season never really got started.

I love the guy and want him to stay but hes got to want it or he can Fook right off.

No i havent voted so :razz: he just hasnt been the same to watch for me this season, its my opioun you clown so fucking deal with it.

I dont think anyone deserves player of the season because no on has been consistant enough.

Keane may have only scored 2 in the last 13 but he has still scored ruffly the same ammount as Berbs (i cant be arsed to look for stats) so i guess that must come from Berbs Free scoring start of the season.

Must mean Berbs had a simular dry period therefore Keane as Player of the season wouldnt b a bad chioce.

I do not expect them to be playing out of their skins, but after one poor performance after another I am disappointed that Ramos has not been able to get more out of them. I am also disappointed by how our super slim, super fit players are unable to perform over 90 minutes.

I mentioned earlier that my old man bumped into the Spurs lads last night. General consensus seemed to be that the lads were extremely excited about next season but didn't really mention today's game at all. Perhaps everyone at the club has just wrote off the rest of the season because we're safe etc (not great for the fans) and are just looking forwards. Although not ideal, I'm hoping it's that rather than Juande not being able to motivate the players...

We achieved our objective of European football next year by beating Chelsea in the Carling Cup Final. After going out of the UEFA soon after I'm not surprised we have gone off the boil as there has been nothing for the players to play for. You can argue that they have the fans to play for but we don't really seem to care about the tail end of a poor premiership campaign either.

Berbatov is our best player and our player of the season - Keane has needed a rest for a few games now

I said before the game Keane should be rested - but hey JR is the boss and a better manager by far than me

I think the team are showing signs of fatigue. Someone posted a couple of weeks ago that we got thin, fit and developed stamina during games a a few months back but it's catching up with the players now and they need to reach this new level of fitness that will last the whole season. Hopefully the close season will achieve this.

Undoubtedly the competitive irrelevance of the league is a big factor too though.

why should they need motivation? I dont know about you but ANY game i play is one i want to win because i hate losing, or even drawing. If the current team has to have something to play for just to be bothered to turn up it says alot about the mentality of the team.

Keane is having a poor end to the season. Berbatov had a crap start to the season - 2 league goals before mid December wasn't it?
