The Qatar World Cup is set to be the main international break during the 2022/23 campaign, with the Premier League and Championship put on pause for part of November and December

Qatar 2022 seems like a big international break-in itself, with the tournament halting the Premier League and other respective leagues across Europe and the world on November 12.

The tournament itself takes place from November 21 to December 18 which is a large chunk of period for international football. Furthermore, there is set to be an early international break on the weekend commencing September 24 to get more Nations League games played, which means it will be less than two months into the season before Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs stars jet off all over the world to join their respective nations.

Other than that, the weekend commencing March 25, 2023 is set to be the only other designated international break following the conclusion of this winter's World Cup.

Looking further on though into 2023/24, and there are set to be a total of four international breaks for that campaign, which include the weekends commencing September 9 2023, October 14 2023, November 18 2023 and finally March 23 2024.

It’s getting to the point where the season will start, then stop at half time in the first game so they can have an international break. Enough!

Unbelievable. Will be in Germany for two weeks next spring for wife's family stuff and the weekend I could go to England for a match is the March international break. Ugh.
